KPJ: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?

Well, we don't really use Turkish IP's in the states :)

I also want the Rockets to be better because

    1) I am not an idiot to think that individual success can come without team success
    2) I like team ball, a lot. I don't like Harden or Luka type team constructions.

And I don't want Sengun to be the primary distributor. But KPJ is not that guy either. The only solution is to evolve to moving the ball more, for now. And get a point guard at some point. I also want the rockets to get better. The more likely scenario for this to happen is to replace KPJ. This has nothing to do with prioritizing Sengun. Actually it would give him less of a role.

KPJ is that guy, that is EXACTLY what the Rockets are trying to turn him into, if fans would be a bit more patient he will get there.

Maybe he will get there. If he is ever gonna get there the first signs of it will show in his ts%, dribbling the ball less and turning it over less.

KPJ kind of reminds me of Monta Ellis.

I remember back in the gap, not a lot of people wanted Monta here.

    Heres their first three years:

Kpj better 3 pt shooter. Better at getting assists. Monta basically better at everything else.

The same story over and over and over and over again.
Don't blame KPJ, the guy is just playing a position he doesn't know and doesn't have the right skills for.
Poor guy, 3 assists and 7 TO (-28). A shameful night.

The game tonight perfectly answered the question.

Monta Ellis is far better than KPJ on offense.

No, fans lack of patience, or understanding we aren’t trying to win already explained it.

Oh wow. Colour me shocked. Where are those 2 or 3 people raving about KPJ's assists and ball movement the past couple of games? Is he excelling still? It's so crazy (not really, since it was pointed out after last game) that the assists plummeted once his dump offs behind the 3 point line no longer resulted in players launching and being on fire.

Who knew. (well, a lot of people, actually)

Don't know how many times it can be said. Kevin Porter Jr is the definition of an absolute loser.

Look at his body language on the court.

He has become so obvious, there are multiple times each game he starts his move into the paint and you say 'how will you turn this over'... low and behold he goes and shows you how. What in the utter f*ck was that turnover against JV hahaha. This guy is just the worst.

And those three turnovers in quick succession in the fourth. Again, all completely preventable and wouldn't occur with 99% of others in the league. His nickname should be The Scarecrow, because he has no brain whatsoever when it comes to basketball.

Here's a fun little game for those 2 or 3 KPJ fans left. If the Rockets offered KPJ to every team in the league for a second round pick (salary cap non-existent) how many teams would take him?

How good was the fourth quarter though (no, I'm not referring to the KPJ-special of turnovers galore in winning time). Green was unconscious in the third quarter. And KmeJ just couldn't bare to see it, so he shuts Green out of the game in the fourth hahah. L-O-S-E-R.

It’s not about win or loss.
    It’s about how you lose.

He had 2 games in a row of moving the ball beautifully followed up with completely killing all momentum by trying to take over. So far this season KPJ is the only player that has frustrated me

He just seems to continue to make the same mistakes game after game.

Penetrates, takes some wild unorthodox shot
Penetrates, realizes he doesn't have the shot and kicks out with a bad pass
    Penetrates, turns it over

Very rarely do I find myself saying "That was a good pass from KPJ". Tonight he just seemed to be in his on head and did not play like a point guard that was looking to get his team involved. From the outset he seemed to be in score first mode. I just don't think that is what the Rockets need. We have enough people who can score, what we don't have is a player that can consistently set the table for others or run a half court offense.

You are simply addicted to KPJ’s loser energy. No other explanation for your ridiculous bullshit.

KPJ, aside from Green, is the only person who did anything tonight. But hey, go ahead and scapegoat. It’s easier than viewing the truth.

I would say that "it's not about wins or losses", it's about "where are you going". This team is going nowhere with KPJ as PG.
I know many don't understand it but I'm not going to stop saying it... KPJ IS NOT A PG!
