We need a PG. Stone is going to think TyTy will be the one to take the role, but Scoot can fill in right now. **** KPJ.
That's exactly what the Rockets need, yet another ball dominant guard.... only this time one that can't shoot at all. Brilliant.
Hmmm. Generational unicorn whose the most hyped since LeBron or another ball dominant shoot first PG?
watched him play every game this season(still a young season) and he's just not that impressive. im actually impressed with his playmaking ability considering he's playing with scrubs but he's not someone i would consider a can't miss. his jumpshot is looking real suspect. his defense is average. he'll make the team better by virtue of just adding talent. either way i would still be happy to get him with the 2nd pick.
Also, Wemby is the best prospect since Bron, so no we shouldn't draft a Scoot because we need a pg. That's almost as bad as last draft people saying we should trade our unprotected pick for Chet and miss out on a chance at Wemby.
I know this is just a random highlight and doesn't offer much insight. Big fan of Scoot and he has insane passion, fire, energy, talent, athleticism, and much more. We'd be lucky to land him at 2.
The reality is that our draft position dictates who we’ll pick. Nobody in the organization is hoping we get the first pick to take Scoot lol.
Wemby, then Scoot if we have to. Sign a real PG, send KPJ packing or relegate to 6th man. Most important, fire Silas.
I haven‘t, but just looking at his stats - he is scoring more than Jalen Green did, his 3pt percentage is pretty much equal to Jalens (on a lower volume) and he is averaging 9 assists. Who was the last prospect that was averaging 20 and 9 (or even just 9 assists)? Even if he is a score first guard, he still seems to find his teammates a lot and definetly seems like a special prospect. I would still draft Wembanyama over him, but he seems to be a great consolation price. This year it sucks to get the 3d pick…
