I still think Sengun would best serve the team as a PF rather than C. When Bruno comes back I'd like to see a starting lineup of KPJ (PG), Green (SG), Smith (SF), Sengun (PF), and Fernando (C). There would be so many scoring opportunities with that lineup we'd be scoring 40 pts in the 1st quarter. Bruno can be the lob threat and do the dirty work in the paint while Sengun can share the load of initiating the offense with KPJ. Let Gordon lead the second unit off the bench. Stone still needs to find this team a true 7' center either through the draft or free agency.

Honestly, not enough shooters for a NBA line up with only two reliable threats from outside. That line up will not have good spacing. For that reason EG probably still should start. Sengun should just start center. Bruno might be a better fit for KPJ but that doesn't out weight the large talent advantage for Sengun to justify Bruno to start over him.

We are losing anyway with the traditional lineups that encourage offensive spacing, what's the harm in experimenting with this one? I think it'd help improve us on the defensive end which would open up more scoring opportunities in transition. Tall ball can work. But Silas will never try this.

Because our offense would be even worse. Spacing is vital in the modern NBA. Every player would suffer statistically in a non spacing line up.

    Bro, what?

I can at least see the argument that he's a better fit with our guards, you can argue that he gives us a better chance to win due to that fit...but to say he's a better player? I can't believe anyone actually believes that.

Silas is either confuse or he is a puppet for KPJ, because starting Fernando only helps KPJ with his pick and roll.

So what you are saying is, he is putting KPJ in a position to succeed?

By same, I meant measuring the same thing.

the main problem with Bobby’s argument is he is trying to measure individual contributions with on and off. These are really only good for 5 man line ups and does not say much individually. PER type stats try to do that but they naturally miss the contribution or lack of contribution that comes playing as a team. And also they have to combine the different contributions in some way that will always favor some players.

It’s actually very common for high schoolers to college juniors. Not only that, 5-8 inches in verticals, way more strength. It’s even more extreme in Olympic athletics

Oh yeah, definitely at those ages there’s a huge jump. I’m actually gonna put my son in gymnastics in about a year. That’s a very underrated part of athlete’s development. You gotta do more than just what your sport requires. So I believe you, those jumps does happen when you put the work in
