It's not a matter of maturation, his slow feet come from his body type. Big hulking body types are almost never quick and when they are it's done freak of nature like Dwight Howard or JJ Watt when they were young.

Sengun is likely to add muscle, not slim down.

Sengun should start, and the offense should go through him when he's playing.

The first quarter vs the Raptors is a perfect example of how We should play. Let Alpi initiate from the high post or on top of the key, and the other guys should make cuts and set screens to get the defense scrambling. In the first quarter everyone got touches and good looks, and We played maybe the best quarter of basketball this season.

Bruno is a better fit with Kpj and Jalen because of vertical spacing but IMO he doesn't make enough of a difference to warrant the starting job over Alpi (maybe the lineups with him are killing it in practice, but against real competition not so much).

The Rockets really should focus on developing lineups featuring heavy two man sets with Jalen and Alpi, and stagger Jalen's and KPJ's minutes so that they can play KPJ and Bruno with the second unit and then let KPJ lead the show.
It boggles my mind that our rotations are this bad right now...

Exactly. That's Bobby's hero though. He won't admit that's where he belongs

Lol fine, keep your fantasy as long as you can.

Can you point to a slow footed NBA big man that magically got quicker as they got older? Should be easy to do if what I'm saying is "completely false".

Of course if what I was saying was "completely false" it wouldn't really make sense for the military to start lowering the run standards at 22 years old and then lowering them again at 27... that's when everyone should be MUCH quicker than when they were a teenager right?

Silas on Dallas had that lob threat of WCS or Dwight Powell. Garuba needs to be trained
up for that. He may never get that.

Capela also had to be trained up for it.

Once again people are only looking at offensive end. Is Sengun better that Looney or Robert Williams? Yes, offensively, but defensively both went to the finals. Sengun will never be at their level of protecting the interior while also popping out to contest.

I recently heard either GreenLeaf or Chop Shop comment on their podcast that Embiid got the 76ers by the Raptors despite all those long lengthy forwards. I said before the playoffs last season that if the Raptors had Green/KPj instead of VanVleet and other.....they would have beaten the 76ers in round one.

Now we see the 76ers struggle with Embiid.
The rest of the league is advancing and passing those big lug cement footed centers. Everyone mark my words. You will see I'm right. Everyone
needs to pop out and contest the 3.....or the good teams will find you like a infielder that can't field his position.

Bruno is better than Sengun right now…period. Doesn’t mean that Sengun shouldn’t start at PF, but he’s had his chance and we lose 95% of the games he plays. Silas for once has it right. Need to bring EG off the bench and give Nix’s minutes to Eason, Martin, and others.

I am probably the only one that thinks Sengun coming off the beach is a smart, efficient, and creative way to use his talents. I called for before it happened. Sengun’s offense will be our main offense in years to come. He doesn’t and shouldn’t change what he does for anyone. In time Green, Smith and Porter will become great role players. That is not a knock on the three. Sengun and Eason will be our stars if we have any. Don’t start catering to the wants of others because long term; they wouldn’t matter in a few short years. On the other hand let Porter, Green and others find all the success they can by supporting them players that fit their style of play. Fernando is that guy and he cost next to nothing. We just run two offenses. No harm in it all.

The military isn’t athletics. They aren’t trained as athletes. This isn’t hard, it’s actually something you can Google for verification.

Kanter was a moron who could never learn to defend.
    Alpi is a genius.
    Get it?

Yeah. And every game, the bench unit will strive to get the team out of the 20-point hole the starting 5 dug for themselves.
