Fandom is a two way street. You fancy, fantasize or fanatically support someone or a team in return for indirect satisfaction, i.e. they reach good goals and you're happy. Nobody wants to root for an/a bunch of idiots who disregard their responsibility to their fanbase. In short: Fμck them. Boycott. Silas you fool, you brought this down on the team. You. I hope your boyfriend gets traded too.
I feel worse for the OP than I do for the Rockets social media manager. You don’t tell Clutchfans to boycott the Rockets, you just stop following and bounce
I got league pass this year because it was cheaper ($99 for the full season) and because I expected a significant bump up in the level of play, particularly on defense given our new personnel. Maybe that was a mistake on my part, because those guys who were supposed to improve the defense are all still rookies. In general the games play in play out have been a hard watch because of all the rookie-level boneheaded mistakes we still make. I still watch all the 9min Youtube highlight reels, though, because when we do score the team is electric and does it in high degree-of-difficulty ways. And the boneheaded **** gets filtered out in large part. Ultimately, because we still control our draft picks next year the outcomes are desirable. One more year of a top 3 draft pick and I think we’re looking at an OKC-type turnaround that happened after they drafted Harden in 2009. The pieces we have currently all have extreme potential. I won’t be calling for the coach to be replaced until early next year if this keeps up.
silas is good in my books because he isn't harming our wemby chances. i don't care who the coach is there is no future best player on a conference finalist + on this roster right now.
F Silas. That being said, can't boycott the Rockets. Silas will eventually be let go because he sucks as much as BOB did with the Texans. Matter of time, just hoping once we land Wemby we get a real coach.
nah , now is the best time to go to games, before they are moved to las vegas... the entire world is just a huge scam of course silas and our rockets are just a tiny part of that same disneyesque illusion
tilman is not gonna pay 2 coaches If there was anything we learned from the COVID shutdown about tilman it was that not only is tilman stingy with his money but he also has a very strict “no work, no pay” motto that he applies to pretty much everything he does. He got criticized for that during the pandemic when he refused to pay his workers during the shutdown. Tilman probably wants to fire silas, but won’t because he wants silas to earn the salary he is paying him
If that Silas extension comes to fruition it will be a complete meltdown for most on here Not taking up for him at all but he signed up to coach Harden / Westbrook n vet style team to now coaching a full blown teenage rebuild type squad, it is what it be
Thing is most don't know who the actual Americans are and who the foreign immigrant colonial settlers are If you lease land of the entire western sphere via Treaty there is no way you pay taxes besides maybe an excise tax if you are generous Taxes are for color code subjects who are property (chattel) of the foreign corporate company known as the U.S. But essentially all taxes are voluntary, and all purchases are a tax(debt note / fiat currency) I've had convo with folks who think America or the U.S. is a country, that's how throwed off our thinking has come to be
Rockets are my team, if I can support the Texans I for sure can support them. I think Silas is a great person, but a terrible coach. Hopefully this is his last year and he doesn’t do irrevocable harm to the development of the young guys
ha, similar story here. I dropped my Sling Orange and Blue subscriptions this year ($89 per month) because the Rockets weren't going to be nationally televised ~40 times this season the way they were Harden's last year with the team. Which was the only reason I had Sling. #SilverLinings
I am not sure he’s a great person. I think he’s an *******. Nix continues to play no matter how many turnovers he has. Same for Mathews. But one bad shot from Josh he kicks him out of the rotation.
I don’t think making terrible decisions as a coach makes him a terrible person. I think he’s shown he’s a good person, a likable person. Don’t think he makes good decisions as a coach though
