What are you talking about? Go get on twitter and read his tweets. He specifically stated if you are going to impersonate someone, you must have 'parody' in the name.

Babylon Bee is not trying to parody themselves.

Well LeBron James already asked for a trade. Eli Lilly made insulin free, then 400 dollars, now 500 dollars, George W. Bush tweeted he misses killing Iraqis ( this one might be true), Ted Cruz tweeted about eating human flesh (could also be true)All checkmarked accounts

A week to push $8 subs...Not like this.

Twitter staff have been told to work 84-hour weeks and managers slept at the office over the weekend as they scramble to meet Elon Musk's tight deadlines, reports say

To RDR's Post, he fired some of them anyways.

    And now...
Oops. Twitter is already trying to rehire workers Elon Musk fired days ago, sources say

I've seen this from your and @Space Ghost's replies and I'll say that some companies are very kush. Keep in mind there are no labor unions and there's even documented cases of collusion from Big Tech to rein in on top salaries.

As some folks have said, most of the "entitlements" has been company/HR driven to attract and keep talent while also providing benefits that doesn't drive up salary or the amount of options granted.

Even with a downturn, I don't think there will be a supply glut in top tier tech talent for long.

For the most part, the bloat is usually a victim of scaling the org and maintaining architectural relevance (upkeep, improvements, knowledge loss, and customer growth).

The former can be cut back with more motivated and connected org leadership and the latter begins with tech talent at the top and keeping that culture towards the bottom hires.

I think the "great man" theory of history is generally bullshit and this especially goes for CEOing as well.

Musk is illustrating this pretty well this past year

@Space Ghost squirming around while @Major quotes him is popcorn worthy stuff.
I need FSD so I can read it while I am driving!!

I am sure people are dying to pay $8 to get a checkmark when the CEO keeps saying the company is going bankrupt!

Now that Elon owns it, can you please release the accurate % of bots? You have the data right?

Did she have a hammer and enter the Pelosi's house looking for gay sex with Nancy? This is ****ing typical of you. Just throw a sentence out there with no proof or actually any type of reference material.

Against my better judgment, I had to look up the context of this message and discovered an Elon Musk/Twitter thread somehow has become some kind of conspiracy thread about SBF. If anyone actually cares, SBF donated about $40MM in this election cycle, with about $37MM going to Dems and $3MM going to Republicans. His co-CEO orgy-partner/girlfriend (not sure how this messy web works) meanwhile donated $28MM to the GOP. So between them, they donated about $37MM to Dems and $31MM to GOPers. Most of that was in the primaries, and some of that was to outsider candidates (crypto fans) challenging their own party who lost their primaries.

So the net Dem contribution was about $6MM. For context, the total estimated spending on the federal 2022 elections this year is $9 billion ($17B including state elections).

Seems petty to post this without context other than the person being trans and posting political beliefs. It'd be like laughing at someone getting laid off with a screenshot of the person being Christian or loving guns.

IMO, it reflects more about the poster than the intended target.

Whatever, they being a Senior Data Scientist can likely rack up the big bucks elsewhere.
