The money sink argument regarding Ukraine is laughable. You couldn't ask for a better return for your money on this lending. So many strategic foreign policy wins, crippling your biggest rival, etc.
Cons love pinchin pennies so they can go HOG WILD when they're in the driver's seat and GLOAT over it. They're b****ing now because they can't take any credit for Glorious War Wins (USA USA USA!!!1), and will be the worst Backseat Driver since Miss Daisy until they can get their clutches back at the presidency where any Con Not-Trump would add not two, but three more dumptrucks of money into the battlefront. Questionable war or not, this reflex is embedded into every reptilian part of the Con brain.
The way I see the money thing is we're giving them something already in our stockpile that we either have too much of or will probably never use before it ages itself obsolete. It's already sunk cost. Like me getting an impromptu food bag to give to someone by going through my fridge and pantry looking for items that I have too much of or will never use before the expiration date. I can say I'm giving you $100 worth of food but really nope - it's extra, aging surplus that I'll probably throw away sometime later.
Kind of...The DoD needs those stockpiles to maintain "operational readiness" in the event of a two front war. This is more like a prepper who has 2 yr old bags of Rice giving them away to hurricane victims so that he can buy fresher uhh "more modern" bags of rice. LMT to da moon! (...unless Russia surrenders)
Yes the US is handing over weapons and hat are already in the US stockpiles to Ukraine. That shouldn’t diminish the value of them to Ukraine. For example I’m going to be donating some old winter clothing from a relative who doesn’t live in Minnesota anymore. For someone who is freezing does that diminish the value of getting a coat even if it is older?
I am going to use this analogy to defend what Mrs. B-Bob calls my "bean museum" in the pantry. You just never know!
Russians stole raccoons from the Kherson zoo on their way out of town. He he.. The joke's going to be on them when they can't figure out what is making all that noise late at night tearing **** up in the onion domes of the Kremlin. Hopefully they got a breeding pair.
