    Sengun and Fernando have very similar defensive ratings (114 v. 113). The difference in D does not outweigh the massive upgrade on O, not to mention that we should be building the core around Green and Sengun IMO.

    the sky wouldnt fall if we sit ego for the season...young players need to play to become players....cant learn to play basketball by reading a book...

    however silas stone an firatata dont care...nobody in nba does...its just a day job to them...going tru the motions for paycheck...

    Silas seems to be DEFENSE first, and I think that it doesn't matter - which is first....offense is starting to figure it out with Sengun, why not start there, and then fix the defense?

    a bunch of miamis undraftees, 2nd rounders and late FRPs have beaten superstars TOP PICKS IN HARDEN AND EMBIIED and came a missed 3 pointer away from the finals...
    tanking is not the way

    The difference in our offense won’t be a mere 13 points - it will be more like 35. We’ll have trouble getting to 100 points if we revert back to the my turn-your turn hero ball of Jalen Green and KPJ. Furthermore, KPJ’s strongest attribute is his catch and shoot ability, and there’s no one better at setting this up than Alpi (actually, there’s no one else at all).

    If better defense is truly the priority, then the focus should be on minimizing our poor perimeter D. That means replacing one of the other 4 guys with someone like Eason.

    He played 1.5 games....all Rockets had bad defensive metrics vs Hawks and Memphis

    Nope, wrong.
    Tari, KJ and Alp were good defensive metrics.
    In fact the best lineup defensively is KPJ, Green, KJ, Tari and Alp.
    And it’s not close
