Agree. If he’s still getting his ~28 minutes and is actually the focal point the majority of the time he is in, I don’t think this is that big of a deal. Wouldn’t be my plan with this team, but we will see I guess.

Sengun is our future more than Silas is. Sengun seems to be mature way beyond his years. I am sure Sengun looks at a calendar every time Silas speaks. Maybe Sengun and Garuba can workout together till Silas leaves.

Garuba can work more on his offense in the G league. Everyone knows Garuba is part of a winning rotation. I really liked what I was able to see from him. I am just trying to stay positive.

Would actually hate if Garuba lose minutes. He's finally looking like an NBA player.

My biggest fear is that all the chemistry and ball movement in the last two games will disappear once Bruno comes back, and iso ball heroball kpj offense strikes back.

It's gonna b stupid as fk if silas gives sengun bench mins bc of this "demotion"

This!!! Starting EG is useless, his trade value has already peaked and is indecline. EG provides some stability and opens the court with his range, but he can do that as the 6th, 7th or even 8th man. Playing the youngin's is what's important. Hell, Garuba has earned his spot in the rotation. Bruno is ok, but unless we're getting bullied he can sit behind Sengun and Usman.

IF the Rox have decided that Sengun is better suited for the 2nd unit in years to come (ie needs to be the focal point and have the have the ball in his hands) - then fine... i'll assume Bruno is a placeholder until we acquire a more prototypical upper level center - and we're trying to get Sengun acclimated to his future role...
BUT if this is to allow more touches for development, etc... until he takes the starting job - then thats stupid.
Guys need touches to develop and all - but at the same time we should be molding these guys to play together - IF thats the future plan...

Unfortunately, who knows what the plan is when Silas is concerned... is this so it doesnt take touches away from his pet project Kpj?

I just have no confidence in what Silas is doing... We need a disciplinarian who is running set plays ad nauseam - ingraining fundamentals and getting certain plays to a tight routine... not just rolling the ball out there and letting guys play 'hero ball'... and certainly not making kpj the focal point of our team (he should be a 6th man)... at least imo...

Bruno had 7 assists - 0 TO his first game so yeah sure that's what's going to happen

If you want to start Bruno, fine, I like him but don’t bench Sengun for crying out loud. Bench Gordon. KPj, Green, Jabari, Sengun and Bruno.

Silas sucks….no doubt, however Bruno needs to start. While I love Sengun’s offensive game, he is not in the same league defensively as Bruno. Porter to Bruno alley oops are going to be legendary. The solution is quite simple:
    KPJ
    Green
    Smith
    Sengun
    Bruno
Get Gordon out of the SF position he is too small to play. Backup off guard s/b his role. My solution allows us to continue playing Garuba as the backup Center. Tate/Martin get their minutes as backup SF and PF roles. I swear I could coach this team to better than the 3-46 starts Silas has had over the past 3 seasons, by just playing the right lineups to maximize players’ talents!

    I would watch that group

But for the sake of being honest, Bruno is not a good defender. He had worse defensive metrics than Alp the first two games of the season.
    Memphis absolutely abused him
