Luhnow: "Let me get back to you, will ya, Jim? I got a guy on the other line asking about some white walls....."
Just looked on Twitter. I can't believe how many writers and fans are making the Click thing into such a big deal, lol.

Revenge factor. Also, against the Yankees, he has had 3 of the most dominant playoff starts in recent memory, one of which was just this past year. Game 1 in the 2022 ALCS, he went 6 IP, 1 ER, 11 K. Had 3 runs of support when he left. You take that every time. True, he had some bad games too, but the playoffs are a crapshoot and even legends look human.
You are ridiculous. I guess you never heard the phrase, you don't want to be the guy hired after the guy. Nobody said it was insurmountable, and why the **** would you go outside baseball?
Why the **** did this trigger you? And why did you ignore the post I was responding to because you would have your answer right there. Are you still feeling some kind of way because of some other interaction we have had? There is a pill for that,
Before people scoff at the name, the Royals have done a fantastic job at drafting over the past couple of years… and are getting close to competing again.
I don’t think you realize how good Verlander has been, or that Urquidy is not a #2 starter. Verlander was worth 4.7 more WAR this year than Urquidy. Urquidy has 4.6 total WAR in his entire career. Urquidy has never thrown more than 164 innings in a year in his career. Coming off TJ surgery, Verlander threw 175 and hasn’t thrown fewer than 200 in a full season prior to that since he was injured I. 2015. You’d have to go back to 2006 to find a season where he threw less than 200 innings. Verlander is much more likely to put up more value over the next three years even at his age. Urquidy is a perfectly solid pitcher under team control, but he was worse this year than last and he’s overall been slightly better than an average pitcher. If you can have Verlander in the rotation in place of Urquidy and trade Urquidy to bolster another need on the team then you have greatly improved your team.
