The mistake was the media over blowing his tweet That documentary has probably like 100 views And probably 200 views after Kyrie posted it . Now they are making bank. @Reeko if they left it alone and let it be a Kyrie posting random stuff Nobody would even notice
then they want to turn around and claim that Kyrie is the one who did all the promotion for this documentary
they are trying to end Kyrie over an Amazon link…if he doesn’t do this list of demands, his career would be over
99% of basketball fans did not about the Kyrie tweet until the media blew it up Less than 1% knew about Black Israelites now thanks to media and nba over blowing it Everyone knows
The media is just doing what media does: report things that interest the public. A star player doing questionable things definitely falls into this category. The media doesn't care whether Kyrie is sincere. The media doesn't care if that movie will sell more. They only care if people are interested in this kind of news. If you are a celebrity, you know if you do controversial things, they will be magnified 1000 times in the media. It comes with the territory.
"They" are trying to save NBA revenue by maintaining the liberal glow that NBA has compared to the rest of national sports leagues. If NBA is exposed to be racist, they'll lose sizable revenues. Why do you care about his career anyway? It's actually good for us if his career is over.
@Reeko is a decent human being. He doesn't want his career ruined just because it may increase our chances at draft position.
2 things: 1) So he said the earth is flat, who tf cares? Was anyone physically in danger from this opinion? 2) He never mentioned anything he only tweeted a link. Why imply otherwise?
First of all, who in the media watched it to know it’s antisemitism? Cause nobody watched it Second if there is a group of black people thinking they the original Jews , so what , they can believe wakanda fought Atlantis @Xerobull The media pulled a China vs Morey https://m.imdb.com/title/tt9574524/ this documentary cost $8500 to make Budget $8,500 (estimated)
The media wants you to care about everything a celebrity thinks because they think you are a dumb follower and can’t think
I don't care. I am just telling you the reasons they make/made a big deal of it. they are trying to get eyeballs and clicks in a dying industry. it makes for a good story. a man that thinks the world is flat thinks this too...isn't it crazy??? blah blah blah. throw on top of it that Jews were murdered by the millions and with Kanye. it makes for a story. so some people do in fact care. I don't besides how it impacts the rockets.
Do you remember when Trump said "they are fine people on both sides" and it made big headlines. You probably thought it was an overreaction too, but then a lot of those "fine people" went to war for Trump on jan 6th. Unclear encouraging statements to extreme sections of society cause problems down the line. That's why I personally don't think it is an overreaction and you guys certainly don't make good arguments to suggests that it is. Your indignation at the situation is not a logical argument.
u are comparing people marching in the streets in Charlottesville with tikki torches yelling out “Jews will not replace us” in an event where a person died to Kyrie tweeting out an Amazon link to some no-name documentary…
And yet you care enough to discuss it here with me? It appears to be a big enough deal. Perhaps, it has something to do with the fact that the person is incredibly famous and has "an army behind" him (or so Kyrie says). These people are not called "stars" for nothing. They are societies' views beacons. Majority of us would likely have no clue what was happening in NC if not for Trump's comments and media making a big deal of them. Good on media, I say
-_- lol, we knew what was happening in NC long before Trump’s comment…u sound clueless u are just babbling now and making no sense
