Why did you ignore this part of the post?

I can see clear improvements from our best 3 players, shows me everything I need to know, but I guess he is only ok if he does what you think he should do.

And why do you want the team to have KPJ by the balls which is the real question.

You want me to pick out the bits of your posts that have content, and not the bits that have insults?

How convenient for you! Move along friendo.

just a reminder that arbitrary stats are abitrary. Tyrese Halliburton misses the rebound cutoff by .4 rpg. Cade misses the ppg by 0.1.

I put a simple example. Sengun is a center, he plays center, and there is no doubt about that. I meant that the mistake would be to play Sengun as a PF, a position for which he has no technical or physical skills. The same goes for KPJ. With KPJ they keep trying to fit a cube into a hole made for a sphere.

C and PF are interchangeable in today's NBA what skills does he have at C that are not PF skills?

It's becoming clear, you don't really know what you are talking about.

True! ClutchFans loves their arbitrary stats! As of TODAY however there are only two. Id fully expect those guys you mention to make this list very soon. Good company.

Does that really change anything though? Okay so now he's 1 of four players, and he's in the same company has Halliburton and Cade, two very promising young players. I don't think this diminishes it at all.

Not every player has the versatility to play multiple positions. Today's game raises the value of players who can do that, but not all Centers can play the PF position. If you do not understand that, it is evident that you are the one who does not understand anything.

So you can't just answer the questions and choose to just type random basketbal words.

I asked specific questions, yet you chose to come back not all Centers can play PF which I never said.

There is something evident here, and it's not that I don't understand.

Kinda confusing ... KPJ can play 1-3 in the casual sense. Combo guard that can play anywhere on the wing. I'd say that is pretty versatile no? Hell he was even out there guarding Paolo the other night.

Dude, I think you're a bit confused. What really catches my attention is how similar you write to another participant in this forum, and the similar arguments you use. Too similar. Get yourself another hobby.

Center and pf are not interchangeable wtf is this nonsense.

    Yes
There are some players that can play both positions, that word is called versatile. But even then only in certain scenario will u see a pf play psuedo center.

Your usage of Interchangeable to me is basically implying Kyle kuzma, a power forward can b played as a center and find success vs actual centers since pf/center skillset is interchangeable. Sounds insane.

In regards to sengun transition to pf, the question would be why even do this when we drafted Smith for that position. Sengun has shown he could hang with starting centers, I rather watch this experiment than the kpj pg experiment.

    Why?

He has been handed the keys to the offense and he doesn't play winning basketball.

He has given up on his own team in the last year.

He isn't efficient on the court and has problems off the court.

    He is basically Ricky Davis.

    Deflection is thy name.

I don't write similar to anybody, but who is this other poster?

Is this supposed to mean much?

It basically means that he gets a lot of minutes and control of the ball.

He isn't averaging 20 points a game anymore anyway.

He shoots 40% from the floor, he has almost 4 turnovers a game and not many assists for someone that handles the ball as much as he does.

Someone has to counting stats on a team.

Does he tangibly contribute to the Rockets winning games?

Are confident with him running the offense when the Rockets are in the playoffs? I personally am not.

Yes they are for the most part, I am not saying it happens everywhere most back up Centers today are PF or wing guys.

Kyle Kuzma is a SF playing PF so I have no idea what you are even talking about.

We drafted Smith as a wing not a PF.

Exactly, as simple as that. It's what I tried to explain to that guy, but certain brains are already so blocked that they don't have the capacity to assimilate anything else.

It is arbitrary like someone already mentioned, but I'll provide the balance to all the guys that are having fun taking a dump on him. Oftentimes with their foot in their mouth after he's played well. Those averages will fluctuate as the season rolls on. People who are rooting for him like to offer some genuine support and if finding these anecdotal stat lines offers that why does it bother you so much? His job is to play lead guard and with that will come more touches, turnovers and assists as a byproduct of the usage. He was scoring because nobody else could. When nobody is hitting shots what do you propose? Nick Nurse took away SEngun in the 2nd half yesterday - what then?

You're asking loaded questions. Who IS contributing to this 2 win team? Sengun right? Are you confident with him running the offense when the Rockets are in the playoffs? We're gonna turn back the clock with the Dream offense right!

And a ton of yards can be deceptive if they come with a ton of fumbles and interceptions. I’m just saying it doesn’t paint the whole picture.
