You're certainly not a quitter when it comes to dumb players. No, I don't like Kyrie.

Rockets fans should be in a pretty good mood right now overall, based on how we played the last 2 games. No one should be too angry.

Let's save the complaining for when the team inevitably backslides into being embarrassing and unwatchable again.

One of two players 22 or younger averaging 20/5/5, but he OBVIOUSLY should be coming off the bench for the 2-10 Rockets.

    Make it make sense.

I agree with much of this except the Silas part, he is the only reason I am currently watching and that's because the team is playing so hard and that has to do with the coach and the players believing in him.

At this point in rebuild, it should be all you want and 2nd should be how are players developing and from what i see the players are developing nicely considering they are playing 3 twenty year olds big minutes.

It also does not matter if KPJ is a PG now great team has a "pg" leading them, why can't KPJ develop his play making skills along with other players developing their skills.

Green is certainly not being harmed nor is Alpi and who is this team or pg that helped a team to develop?

So this is a KPJ problem and not because of the fact we have been getting very little from 2 front court positions until recently or that Smith has been a liability so far?

Can you name 5 guys from good teams that have a player like that?

And are any of those guys less than a 5 year veteran?

So much talk about his playmaking…never really been my concern. For a combo guard I think he projects to be just fine. I like his vision, his decision making just needs to catch up.

Scoring efficiently? Still not seeing it. He is at a career low 51.7 TS% this season so far. And it’s at a time that league wide average efficiency is at a near all time high of 57.0%.

He has only had 1 game out of the 12 this year with above league average scoring efficiency and even that one game wasn’t an eye popping number it was 58.9%. League average isn’t some high bar to reach and he still is struggling to get there. It wouldn’t be as concerning if he wasn’t taking a lot of shots, but it seems like the role they want to continue to try him at is a combo guard with a decently high volume of shot attempts.

I still expect the team to continue to keep him in the role he is in for the entirety of this season to see if he can make strides in that area, but this is year 4 and it’s still not looking promising.

LOL did you really use CP as a benchmark?

What point did you think you were making?

My friend, you are making my day. Really.
In your words Cris Paul is not a bad PG but the concept of needing a PG like him is outdated. Great philosophy.
Incredible, it is incredible what some people say in order to deny reality.
I'll keep an eye out, maybe Alpi hits double digit assists and you ask him to play PG.

It wasn’t about anything other than to address the claim that our “offense is stagnant when KPJ sits” made by the person I responded to. Our offense has been bad whether he is in there or not. And at the time that was posted our offense statistically had actually been slightly better when KPJ sat. And again that’s not a direct shot at KPJ or laying the blame for that statistical fact 100% at his feet.

Yeah, my bad, it's my fault for commenting in the middle of a back and forth and not knowing what the discussion was about.

Pal, I agree but I think we have a little focus problem. I am not saying that KPJ cannot develop as a player, I am saying that he is not a PG, in the same way that Sengun is not a PF and trying to develop him in that position is a huge mistake.
Once again, it's not KPJ's fault that they keep using him in a position for which he has no natural ability.

    Dude WTF are talking about.

You sound deranged, had him by the balls?

Why would you be thinking about a team having a player by the balls?

The fact that he still has this team playing hard after last year and this year and I can see clear improvements from our best 3 players shows me evrything I need to know, but I guess he is only ok if he does what you think he should do.

I'll play along who should be the on ball guard most of the time and what happens to Green if KPJ is a off ball savage?

Why does he have to be a pg?

And his numbers say he has a great amount of natural ability and the eye test but somehow you see it differentley?

You have the focus problem, you have just got it into your head KPJ is not a combo guard.

So what position do you think Sengun is, and why do you think he is playing PF?

Sounds like I got YOU by the balls!

If playing hard is all that you want to see from our guys and our coach, I envy you! Peace, love, dope!
