Hopefully when Silas is fired the new coach will actually come to their senses

Oh he just missed open shots tonight?

I hadn't noticed him doing that before.

Maybe @DreamShook is an IT consultant in Melbourne like Sam Vecenie and via the Coriolis effect, he sees the ball go in rather than out and the open shots look contested

Idk if that’ll change with a new coach. If Sengun played for GSW or Boston, the same thing would happen. He’s gonna have to be a Star/Superstar to gain that respect to close games, despite not being as switchable. I’m just not sure about not giving him the experience on a development season

Smarter coach would have a better system. Alp was good in switches last season, the numbers show this.
PNR defense is bad, but the team doesn’t defend it at all. There are no rotations.
The only two players capable of playing solid defense on this team right now is Garuba and Eason. And neither of them are going to be able to pick up for the guards getting blown by consistently

Hey, it was an entertaining game. Our very young team came into Toronto’s gym and made them bust their butts to beat us. I was impressed. Sure, we made some mistakes. We’re going to do that a lot until we grow out of it, but we’re making progress.

I don’t know if I’ll ever understand Silas and his rotations, but I do know that I want to see Eason, Martin, and Garuba play together a lot more going forward. The 3 of them with Green and Porter, if Porter would stick strictly to being a point guard (yeah, that’s expecting far too much), could really be something to see. Toss Sengun into the mix. I thought he had an excellent game. He hates sitting. They all do, though.

Will we be seeing Ty Washington anytime soon? I’d like to see him get a few minutes from time to time. I’d also like to see Christopher have another shot at playing, especially at the one. Has he been punished enough yet? @Williamson must be tearing his hair out by roots. Hey, when we were moving the ball, we were moving the game in our direction and giving the Lizards a really hard time. Looking forward to the next game.

Yeah, at least they’re entertaining. Moving the ball is much more fun to watch

He's a threat to SIlas boy KPJ so they have to hide him.

Majority of posters only look at boxscore - watch urn this game…

Toronto got hot from 3 which helped them stay in game and come back … Porter had some big ones

    EG had a awful game

Eason while great .. missed prob 3-4 layups on fastbreaks… has to work on finishing stronger at rim or passing to trailer

Bari was a lot better, missed a few open 3s… but had a really good stretch that started with a FT line jumper

KPJ and Green and Gordon handles are awful …leads to so many turnovers before offense can even start …giving away games with new fast break rules

Keeping JC in the doghouse is hurting the team. He can give a spark when JG and KPJ are struggling. He should be given some of EG's minutes. Silas sucks!

We have better talent now. JC also is another who doesn't like to pass the ball, he thinks he is better than he is.

He can give scoring from the backcourt when our starters are running out of gas. He can slash , make floaters, get to the rim and hit mid range shots. Way better than Matthews. EG is slowing down. He's 33 now.
