I still think Bari will be better.. Tari has a little EG in him that I'm a lil cautious about when he eventually gets big minutes.. But it might be because of this " get it how you live system" Silas putting out there..
Tari has been better so far, but it's been 11 games... hopefully Jabari starts showing us why he was a consensus top 3 pick at worst.
Welp once again Tari comes in and makes a strong impact in limited time and he even smoked a couple of layups and dunks. Jabari actually played decent, but it didn't seem to be as impactful. Imagine when Jabari's game looks impactful like Tari!
"Tari needs to have the ball spoonfed to him no fewer than 20 times a game " - psych, nobody would ever say this
Tari Eason +18 in a loss, Jabari -19 in the same game lol. Edit that was KJM! interesting to see a single game discrepancy like that among teammates. Tari was a +8. Still Jabari looks pretty awful. I really do not think we should trade KJM, he seems to be the most capable of the young guys in games he gets an opportunity.
rookie years are always viewed as way too heavily upon judging a players career. Michael Carter-Williams is a prime example
This is a tricky question. Tari has been a reserve in the college and he plays the same way after transitioning into the NBA. Jabari, on the other hand, still need to learn the system. I still think Bari has a better ceiling if we get a good coach.
I get why everyone is jumping on me about this thread. (Actually not you, you were respectful compared to some responses) Really it is to get thread consensus on how they feel about their projection on the players based on JUST THE 11/12 games so far. No one is saying they are Pro scouting experts or Nostradamus or that their opinion is absolute. If we're completely wrong so be it, it's not our career to be correct. Just participating in barbershop talk. Lol
I like Tari a lot and I think he’ll be in the NBA for 10-12 years when it’s all said and done. Having said that, he has NO business leading the team in field goal attempts like he did tonight against the Raptors. And he did it in only 21 minutes. That **** needs to get reined in ASAP.
Did you even watch the game? He took a lot of shots because he got a **** ton of offensive rebounds and steals. He just smoked some layups.
Yeah I agree. I think he's getting a little too comfortable and he wants to make sure he gets good offensive stats. But I will say at least we know he's not scared and is willing to be aggressive which we always need
I did. And he took too many shots. Period. Yeah, he missed some off of rebounds, and I like the energy, but there’s no damn way in hell he should be leading this team in field goal attempts under any circumstance ever. And in 21 minutes? Get the hell out of here. That’s crazy. Not really an indictment on Tari as much as it is the offense.
