Que? If New York and California did what FL did, they would be red states.

Do you really think Miami-Dade flipped because of gerrymandering?

I don’t know if you are genuinely ignorant about the Florida situation or you are trolling?

No surprise. They elected Weekend At Bernies for President 2 years ago.

Republicans have been gerrymandering the hell out of states since 2010 to great effect to disproportionate representation. Democrats have spent the last few years trying to do the same thing, but not be as successful. Sometimes courts step to stop it and sometimes they don't. It's weird because an honorable court helps representation proportionality of a particular state (like NY), but at the expense of national proportionality. It's like if your state isn't cheating too, than you're hurting the party because other states will cheat. It's all a cluster F that needs a system overhaul.

The overwhelming majority of those Democrat seats are safe, but there are 4-5 that are potentially vulnerable and they only need to pick off a few. Less if they win the WH.

It depends on what Trump does if DeSantis wins the nomination.

If Trump decides to run as a third party, then Biden will beat DeSantis and Trump.

If it is straight up DeSantis versus Biden, the only way Biden wins is if the economy is really strong.

A lot of unknowns, but Trump being vengeful and running as a third party candidate seems really possible to me.

Newsom lost me with his antics at Chinese Laundry. He had the whole state under heavy quarantine and told people it was a health risk… yet he went out to a restaurant with a large group of wealthy people right in the heart of COVID. That showed a massive lack of leadership and he lost the trust of people that he cannot really get back. He is well spoken, he looks the part and networks well but he is a phony.

I can't see Trump throwing his Republican legacy (don't laugh, it's actually a thing) in the toilet by going 3rd party.

I think that neither DeSantis or Trump want to face each other. So, whoever declares first has the advantage IMO.

Worst case scenario is DeSantis kisses the ring and ends up Trumps VP.

Yup, lots of new mail was announced that was previously unknown. The Mesa drop was really good for Boebert so she's probably in the drivers seat unless the Pueblo batch surprises us.

The race we need is Hawley VS Newsom.

    American Psycho royal rumble!

Agreed about Whitmer. She has that divorced English professor Wine mom energy.
