hes up there with the best... top 50 players in nba is really very fluid every year...even top 10... the value and skills of these guys fluctuate...its not set in stone...
one on one alpi could really beat anyone and i would put my money on him except perhaps vs steph curry or something.. but if alpi has the ball first steph is not getting it back.... ps also not sure vs luka... hes very crafty...
I don't know LeDakota's knowledge-level in real life but he seems kind of David Spiegelhalter within us.
I'm sure you wouldn’t give Jokic or Curry the MVP award because their defense is flawed lol. Perfectionist mastermind I love you
How many times do we have to go through this with you Bro? No one is saying that it is all-encompassing. Dear lord man.
No, you're giving irrelevant information. I can understand why you're so stubborn with the "he's undersized" argument. After all, 2 inches make a whole world of difference for you. Imagine: suddenly it's 5 enormous inches instead of three! (Automatically leads to fewer "no no, it's how you use it" arguments too.) I feel you, friend. You're very unrelatable but I see how it's sad.
No. I prefer observing you in an objective, noncommittal way, like watching a Discovery Channel documentary about tapeworm.
Different strokes for different folks. You being into nasty things isn't my cup of tea, but you do you!
Just because it can do this doesn't make it a good stat. Here I'll make up a terrible stat on the spot, it's called HBER - Harold Bingo Efficiency Rating. You can calculate it by adding together points + rebounds + assists per game. The two players at the top of HBER are Luka and Giannis, wow amazing, the top two MVP candidates! But that doesn't make it a good stat. It should be obvious to see why this is stupid, and why you shouldn't use it to compare players. A stat can be good at picking out the most productive players in the entire league, but still be a horrible stat to compare players. And it becomes much worse once you get out of that MVP tier and try to use it to compare players outside the top ~5. I don't mean this to crap on Sengun, I love Sengun, he's my favorite Rocket. I have his jersey. But there are much better advanced stats that are a lot more meaningful that we can use to prop him up. PER isn't one of them.
