its a crime against the fans the rockets are doing this
sengun could have had 3 seasons worth of playing time under his belt now

instead he played perhaps only a dozen or 2 real nba games of 30+ minutes

imagine what he could have done if he played jalens minutes and allowed to play tru mistakes and ups and downs like jalen?

bad teams stay bad for decades for a reason

 

i am just praying for sengun to throw another mad fit or two...(or perhaps a even soup)... its seems it increases his status at rockets...

True. You'd think his teammates would want to give him the opportunity to find his rhythm.

 

You'd think his teammates unlike yourself actually know that they have because they watch the games

Nobody's been set up more often than the guy with the highest assisted FGA on the team, 3rd most FGA overall - more even than Sengun, who has the ability to actually dribble a basketball and make shots with that basketball.

Nobody's failed to deliver more often with the worst adjusted shooting % on the team. Probably in the whole league.

I don't need to go to basketball reference though - I've watched all the games. I've seen Jabari brick parties since opening night. It's actually amazing the other guys are as patient as they are

 

I agreed he's cold. So what, bench him? Trade him? Cut him? We all saw how Jalen started out last year compared to where he finished. He needs to be given the same opportunity. I have no idea what went down on the bench during the Utah win, but it's gone down hill since then. Hope they can squash it and build some chemistry soon.

Wont matter what they do on offense if these guys cant stop anybody even with an absurd 3 point success rate. Siakam is hurt so Toronto will run small ball with Koloko as the rim runner and he's been playing great. Sengun will have to keep up and not get gassed. Backcourt cant turn the ball over in dramatic fashion and expect to win. Raptors have been blowing teams out of the water so Im not expecting a win just hoping these youngsters make it a good game.

Would running Jabari with Tari and Usman on the 2nd unit help him to break out of his funk? I hear some of y'all just want to keep feeding him, but wont that be counter productive at a certain point since he may be struggling even worse than Jalen last year? As bad as Jalen to begin last season by game 11 he had already flashed plenty dropping 3 20+ scoring games amidst another terrible fitting roster and similar coaching blunders. Jabari cant just take the ball and go do something I get that, but if the guy keeps bricking and bricking going up against the better defenders on opposing teams I cant help but think it will damage him further. Maybe gaining confidence against subs would be best for him as a player and skill set. I dont think they do it for the optics of it all and for "developmental" purposes which is fine, but people cant keep crying about him not being found on the court when he's shooting 30% across the board and is passing out of good looks when he's not missing them.

 

Yes you know he's cold because you've seen him brick open shots at volume - so then shut up about him not getting enough chances.

He gets more quality chances than anybody on the team. If he wants more, convert. Martin did it on Monday. Nix hits open shots and he sucks. Eason did it. Etc

The problem with Smiths performance is mostly Smith. I hope he gets better but if he's making the same fake stupid explanations that you are he won't - though i have no reason to believe he would be as wrong as you here.

Happy to see the team tonight. Raptors are always fun to watch and they are going to give us hell on the defensive side. Hopefully Jalen does not get stuffed a lot tonight.
Let's see Alpi vs Koloko and Achiuwa. Maybe a good matchup for him.

Koloko is even not good enough last year's Alpi. His stats are 3.9 ppg, 3.8 rpg. can't compete against Sengun.

 

Sleeping on Koloko is not a good idea! Im here to warn ya'll! Alpy better be ready just brushing off the opponent because of a stat card is not smart.

 

I really intimidated by precious .The very first game of last summerleague ( might be regular season that i am not very sure) sengun had hard time against him if he can push precious in the paint it is a big development for him. Also i need sengun has better box outs at defensive rebounds last two games kat and bol bol take 3 or 4 offensive rebound over sengun.

 

When was the last time he did this?
