I could have sworn it was Trump rallying around the country during the height of the pandemic spreading hate and lies about mail in voting, voter fraud, BLM and Antifa, and mocking Biden in his basement. Did you miss something? I remember Democrats speaking out against violence. Everyone but Trump and his bunch of lying associates were making heroes of white guys with guns plotting to attack, kidnap, or kill Democratic officials during lockdown or protesters on the streets.

As I said early, I've barely been back here in five years so how could my political culture information have come from this NBA team message board? And if you haven't noticed, there's not a lot of information back here in support of my ideas so this would be a bad place to "shop."

The Democratic National Convention started August 17, 2020. Just like most of the things you read. They were wrong. Again he was not the President. Trump was. Why didn't he stop the riots? Why didn't he stop Jan. 6th?

 

So where is the disagreement?

I'm saying you are creating a perceptive of an entire ideology or group of people based on interactions in a NBA team message board which is very stupid or you are insincere.

and what you are (intentionally i think) avoiding is the fact that trump incited the january 6th insurrection while biden did not incite the BLM protests and riots that happened around them. and again, i dont remember any BLM protesters attacking cops with biden flagpoles and saying "fight for biden".

BLM protests had nothing to do with biden while january 6th had EVERYTHING to do with trump.

thats not true. as we saw on january 6th, one voice can and did incite that kind of anger and one tweet from trump actually did quell that kind of anger. trump spent hours watching his supporters attack our nations capitol and said nothing...when he finally released that stupid tweet telling the rioters to go home his cult actually listened to him and went home.

and whats up with putting "protectors" in quotes? who are you talking about and who told them to "stand down"?

Oh yeah, the muddled and distorted thinking influenced by dip$hit that led to the violent assault on Pelosi's husband.

Much like some of the same muddled and distorted thinking seen in this thread deflecting blame for said violence and derailing the thread.
