If I had to guess I still think it’s GOP takes house and Dems narrowly hold Senate but I’ll admit to it being certain about the latter.

I am pretty certain we’re not going to know for sure tonight or he result of a few Senate and governor races and that there are going to be calls of fraud and refusal to accept the results.

Not sure what to expect as far as individual races. I have a $10 bet with @DonnyMost about the Pennsylvania Senate Race but I was mostly talking out of my ass when I picked who I thought would win - I am no expert at picking individual races, and if I tried to do it regularly I would definitely be horrible at it.

But I will make a prediction about the response from the Reps and Dems tonight if their respective side underperforms.

The Reps will blame election fraud
The Dems will blame the people for not being concerned about the right things

The Reps will have this built-in grievance for the foreseeable future and I don't know how that will change. And we all know that the Establishment Dems, according to themselves, never fail, but are often failed by the people.

So those are the only predictions I feel confident in.

For everyone's sakes, if the Rs are taking the house, I hope they get a 20+ vote cushion. Anything less than that and the loonies really will be running the asylum. The jokers like MTG will basically have a veto on everything and we'll get a new level of gridlock in the house. They won't even be able to rename a post office without shutting down the government in that scenario.

Huh? If republicans take the senate/house I’ll accept the results. And if that happens, it will be bad for democracy to give a party of election deniers more power.

But....shouldn't they deny their own election wins?

Abortion jokes are difficult. I’d just kill that bit before I got on stage.

So I assume if you're posting without comment, then you agree with her.

I hope the democrats shock the world the same way Trump did in 2016. Blue wave 2022.

This is exactly how I feel about the election, but then you remember Trump was elected so common sense goes out the window.

You have come a long way from Democracy is doomed.:D
