So with half the team either nursing injury or sickness this should be a monster game from Sengun right? Lights going to be bright with all the national pundits ready to flock like vultures to the Paolo/Jabari draft day fiasco and how Paolo has taken the league by storm! I really hope Paolo/Sengun guard each other and Alpy reminds everyone he is not an afterthought player. Getting hyped!
My paranoic drunk side is telling me that KPJ and JG are ditching this game to make Jabari look even worse (as if that was possible), so that they remain the best backcourt duo in NBA within Silas' eyes; yet Jabari might respond with an even worse chicken DNP move to counterfeit. Clowns embarrasing the beautiful city of Houston.
What do you mean? Sounds like Alpy is going to be given the keys to the lambo. No more excuses. No more whining about PT or sub patterns. He's starting and currently playing the best on the team. His game requires no sets or plays to be called. Take the ball in the post and go do your baby hook or kick out. Im just hoping Paolo doesnt expose his limited perimeter defense. Worst case if Paolo goes off Sengun matches the output.
Let's see how we can do without KPJ. Only problem is that this probably means more minutes for Nix who is a walking disaster.
I actually like Houston chances tonight. Its actually cool game to see Jabari vs Banchero Tonight go at it!
I hope for two things: (1) Jabari locks down Paolo on D and scores 20+ points, and (2) a Rockets win - none of that keep it close for 3 quarters and lose it in the 4th crap.
I like to think of Silas as a pioneer, a trend setter.... He does his own thing, he swims upstream.... All these team competing to be at the top, its too crowded up there. Silas knows the bottom is empty. How sweet it is...
If Jabari plays, he'll shoot a total of 28 shoots to make a total of 10 points just to prove he should be the true #1 pick, not Paolos. I'm expecting this thread will hit 34 pages and 30% of the posts would be "WTF Jabari" and 10% of the posts would be "Nix is not an NBA player" or "The bird should not get any playing time anymore". The happiest person after the game would be Stephen Silas because we will have so many idiot players take over the blame and his ass is safe tonight. He just needs to fake his sadness during the conference and tomorrow is another losing day. For that regards, I set up the reminder on my calendar to bump up "Fire Silas Thread x.0" after tonight's game.
I'm fine with Smith and optimistic of what he will become. However, this game will be a painful watch to have to see Banchero in a Magic uni.
Jabari is too one dimensional right now. He needs desperately to become more involved on the break and stop relying almost exclusively on long jump shots. He could really use some easier baskets to get his confidence going.
