Sengun’s defense is still a problem at the 5, but at least he’s giving us great play on offense, unlike our overrated backcourt. I’m irritated today, tired of this team looking bad lol

Nobody expected Jokic to be the Jokic as of today...they were calling people dumb in the past for giving him a chance like that and look at where he is now. It's not saying Sengun will be as good as Jokic but so far what he offers is very encouraging.

Sengun is a way worse shooter for one thing. I'm talking massively worse 3 point shooter. As to your question, lol, the stats are what they are, but what you guys are implying with these stats is absolutely premature and much closer to wrong than it is right. You're putting unfair expectations on him.
Sengun is playing fantastic and the offense should continue to run through him. The problem is interior defense, the opposing centers are putting up monster numbers on us.

KAT had 25. Zubac had 5. Zubac had 16. Biyombo had 5. Nurkic had 27. Nurkic had a solid game and scored a bit above average, but I am not seeing “monster numbers” here. And as much as Sengun needs to improve, the god damn guards need to help the helper or the Dream himself wouldn’t fix this defense. (Okay, maybe he would, but that’s Dream) Correction: The Admiral himself couldn’t fix this defense. All in all, these are growing pains we can live with. Sengun has already admitted to being hard at work on improving his defense. More reps Silas, not less.
