450 ft bomb, dead center OVER the freaking batter's eye. It was a symbolic gesture from Yordan, a big middle finger lifted to all the haters and naysayers. I hope he retires an Astro, he is a dead set legend.
Yeah, but it's a friendly competition from my perspective Rockets Texans Astros My squads !!!! I don't care who wins next, just do it ASAP
So now we know why they didn't try Vazquez at DH earlier. I was like come on do it, Maldy never gets injured there is no risk in losing your catcher. Little did we know a broken hand and a groin? wtf. How does one even squat with a bad groin over the age of 31. He might be the toughest catcher I've ever seen behind the plate. I wish Vazquez would stay. Neris telling Pressly he was Dominican and getting him to pose with the flag was a funny cool moment.
Repeating in 95 when you shake up the roster mid season, have no homecourt and beat the top 4 teams in basketball definitely wouldn’t qualify as easy. Compared to a run in any sport.
I never said the Astros individual postseason run was stronger, necessarily. That 95 run by the Rockets was truly impressive. I'm saying this Astros team as a whole is the greatest overall team in the city's history. Combining regular season and postseason performance, statistical production, league dominance, etc., this Stros team is just better. That's not a knock on the 90s Rockets. It's just a fact.
More or less, sure. Or Framber's magical head sweat, Altuve's vibrating buzzer or buttplug...whatever it is.
It was posted in the Astros World Champions thread, last page or next to last page. You're going to have to watch the whole video. It's well worth it.
I mean Barkley was a Philly guy to start his career, way before his last few years in Houston. He’s always said he loves Philadelphia and considers it like home.
Another funny cool moment, on 790, they were airing Lance McCullers speech live unfiltered and you could hear Ford freaking out in the background every time Lance dropped the F bomb.
Rob channeled his best Scott Servais impression. Let's make an old school decision vs real analytics. Costs them the game. I won't say series, because it was Houston's year but man....
Great read thanks. Astros attention to detail I'm pumped I am taking the family March 10th to catch a few games.
