Seeing Yordan’s homer in person was surreal. The sound of the ball getting demolished off the bat…Tucker’s catch to seal the win. It was pandemonium in section 429. Never going to forget the feeling of seeing those two iconic moments. EPIC.

Nah. Nothing like the first title, and real champs repeat.

I've never seen Framber so much in bulldog mode. He looked like he wanted to kill someone. We are used to seeing him smiling coming off the mound after making someone look silly at the plate to end the inning.

There was NONE of that tonight. He was all business. Focus and determination the likes I've never seen from him before. I've certainly never seen him display so much emotion on the mound. When he was coming off the mound in the 6th he immediately pulled his glove off and punched it, shaking his head in anger.

I lived in south Florida for 6 years and they had this hole in the wall Haitian restaurant in walking distance of where I worked. Do yourself a favor and find a Haitian restaurant that serves ox tail. It is to die for.

Tastes like beef stew, or beef shanks, and they're delicious (you know ox=beef, right?)

Yordan said he could feel the stadium shaking as he was rounding the bases.

A Houston sports team actually came through and won a 'ship without any side conversation? Are we in a different universe?

Compare the Wheeler pull vs the Snell pull (2020 WS).

    Both 6th inning
    Both dominating.
Both 1 out with traffic on the bases.
    Both extremely low pitch counts.
    Both teams down 3-2.

    Which was more egregious?

Jeremy Pena was responsible for chasing not 1, not 2 but 3 starting pitchers from the game.

    Syndergaard, Nola and Wheeler.

In the last 3 games of the World Series.

Yep, ole boy really was the MVP.

Jeremy Pena just turned in the greatest rookie season in the history of the sport. And it's not even close.

The vaunted and thought to be unstoppable Phillies offense ended the World Series going 10 for their last 100 at bats.

    Yep that's a solid .100 batting average.

I actually cried tears tonight. Was I the only one? And thank God it's Daylight's Savings time. We have an extra hour to soak it in.

I can't believe the season Pena had. Absolutely insane from a rookie.

and don't forget we have the next Justin Verlander with Hunter Brown who has been lights out and added to the already stacked starting rotation.

    We are spoiled.

    I'm rewatching this ****er now....

much props to Maldy for scooting up and crowding the plate in the 6th to make it so much easier for Wheeler to hit him and start that rally.

I'd say the Bagwell trade was just as lopsided, if not more.
