No. That is why they had to add Corey Lee to be able to use Vasquez as DH.

If a DH changes to a fielding position later in the game, you lose the DH option and the pitcher has to bat. Theoretically you could try to manage that late in game with PH's and replacing relievers, but the Astros don't have that many PH options to pull that off.
