I was watching 2017 world series game 5 earlier today. Man, Yuli, Springer were so soung at the time.
Do it for Yuli and Dusty!!!! Wheeler is still very sketchy with forearm tightness and that drop in velocity. Phillies are downplaying it but you know he’s not quite right. Need to end this tonight I don’t want to see Suarez in game 7 against LMJ or a 3 days rest Javier.
Jumping on them early while Framber tosses zeroes and forcing them to use Suarez tonight would be a wonderful thing.
If it was Yuli’s last game as an Astro, it was a good run. Along with Correa, Altuve, and Bregman hey have played in more postseason games together than any other infield. Crazy to think 1/2 of that may be gone over two years.
What I hate is that if we should score 2 runs on Wheeler, he is going to be taken out immediately. Is there a stat on how bullpen days fair in comparison to a starter going 5 innings plus in the post season? Just feels impossible to get more than 1 run on good bullpens. Got to take good at bats
I don't think Yuli is going anywhere. Would be shocked if he did. So, he slumped an entire season practically. He showed up for the playoffs when it matters.
