He would be allowed to catch. We would just lose thr DH and our pitchers have to hit. They can’t do much worse than Mancini or Diaz. So I say go for it.
If that is the case. I am guessing we get a Vazquez, Mancini pairing. Would really suck to lose one of the better hitters in your lineup this postseason and more so the automatic picker at first base. Luckily, this Astros team is super deep.
