I'm not an expert on this and we do not know the details of the surgery that was done, I would just in general expect any stage of a recovery process for an 82 year old person to last longer than if it were a young person. Comparing an 82 year old person to "the average" probably doesn't tell us that much. Subjectively, it seems to be good news about the severity of the injury that he is already back home.

 

Nor am I.. but I trust the Johns Hopkins web site when they say the typical time to stay in the hospital is 2-3 days.

Pelosi underwent surgery and was released 6 days later. So, he was there longer than typical, perhaps because he is 80+.

 

So... are you one of the unreasonable people that watch Tucker Carlson expecting to get actual news?

Again, according to Fox's own lawyers representing Carlson:

This thread is a good example of people who knowingly or unknowingly adhere to the just-world fallacy. If your response to a person being beaten by hammer is “it was his gay lover” rather than “wow, that’s awful” or any iteration of that, then you are implicitly saying he deserved it.

You and I both know that there are people who think that way. There's a reason certain parents would kick their teenager out on the streets if they came out of the closet, even if it forced them to become targets on the streets, being young and homeless. They would say their suffering was their own choice, and justify their sick gratification of it.

 

I predict we will only find out more detail after the upcoming elections.

 

I've had my fair share of obsessions in my life for sure I'll admit. I had my years where I listened to nothing but The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Joy Division. I've been so into basketball at times where I literally dream up schemes in my sleep. As a 40 year old dude, I'm oddly obsessed now with the grating and drainage of my yard (can't be too safe fellas).

But I have NEVER... EVER been obsessed with anything as much as ATW is obsessed with Paul Pelosi secretly being into gay sex with a hammer fetish.

It's so obvious that this is a coordinated attempt to politically benefit from framing this attack as "right-wing".

Noteworthy that Ms. Pelosi did NOT frame it in that fashion (unlike Hillary Clinton and others).

 

His recent history doesn't point to that based on his writings. Plenty of people start off one way and become radicalized.

Just look at all the Trumplicans. A number of "mild mannered" folks became so radicalized they participated in the January 6th attempt to thwart the confirmation of Biden's victory.
