If i could pick any 3 player in the league i would pick 1) Luka Doncic 2) alperen Sengun 3) Lebron Alperen Sengun is a franchise player
I think Sengun will always have physical limitations that prevent him from being a reliable defensive player and every-night starter. But really, who cares. Paolo was never a Rocket.
Wow. Giannis? Jokic? Ja? Steph? Durant? Embid? You can’t even claim you are going for future potential with LeBron on the list. At least this post provided extreme clarity … perhaps not about what you intended.
I watched Orlando game tonight and Banchero nearly cost "the hard earned"game at the final seconds.Alperen never makes that type of amateur mistakes. 22 p,8 r,3 assists in 36 minutes but 0/4 behind the arc, 47% fg, 66.7% ft and minus 19. I don't know long term outcome but the boy not at Alperen's level yet.Hope both have a long NBA career.
The absurdity here rivals the kpj absurdity we had all summer. What is this nonsense? Why do people just latch onto one player and then just blind themselves to reality. Pretty bizarre
Sengun only fans wanna b beefing with every other players, so they can sing praises to sengun. This is what happens when games are so spaced out, they have nothing else to do but make more threads to praise sengun.
The main reason Paolo wins this is because Sengun has to play center and defense will be an issue. If you ask who has more raw talent then probably Sengun but Banchero has a much better body for his position.
1.6 assists per game is really low for someone who has elite vision. AS assists are flashy but not plenty. Sengun's rebounding has reached Drummond levels though but his assist level isn't Lebron.
The problem with Only fans is they tend to ignore and not watch the other player that they compare their darling to closely.
Yep...pretty bizzare, especialy considering those people can immediately recognize it when they see others doing it...
Is there anybody in this forum mentioning/complaining about Rockets' and Sengun's poor assist level? This is the #1 problem in this team, more important than HC problem, more important than playing without a real PG. Sengun finished the previous game with 3 assists (decreased to 2 later on) instead of the projected 6. He should catch his expected assists number, at least 5. He helped to JGreen at the second half of Clippers game ( better screening) and JGreen performed much better. He should make more assists to Jabari to bring confidence back. The ones labelled SOF are the people who realise what is going on in the organisation and posting sarcastically aiming to give to the society a wake up call. If someone puts Sengun behind of Bruno and Garuba in pecking order (you start them to save the career of KPJ not caring whole Rockets organisation), some other people will start Sengun comparison to Oscar Schmidt, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain,.. deliberately. A poster has a line from Edmund Burke in forum indicating (more or less) : Necessary thing for the triumph of evil is good men to do nothing. There is also another Burke quote : "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little". Most of SOF labelled posters try to write/post/embed something (sometimes sarcastically) to give an "achtung baby" warning to some short visioned individuals. Not exactly but kind of "reciprocity".
I like Sengun a lot, but comparing him to a rookie who is lighting it up is not just unfair to him, it's absurd.
Again it is the aspect that surprised me. He rebounded much better but his elite skill which is passing did not lead to huge numbers. You could blame the coach but last year Silas was here and Sengün ended up with nearly 3 assists per game, double as many. The players were shooting better. He should make the passes out to the shooters rather than the bounce pass to the closest guy to him which might end in a Turnover.
