Atluve hasn't exactly been great but I feel like he's been a big part of the last 2 wins. Getting extra base hits and starting rallies to get the offense going.

I was at the watch party, the crowd was super hype, and it didn't even fill the lower bowl. Game 6 gonna be lit AF.

Great wins, JV finally gets his WS win and Mancini and Chas flashing the leather to shut down Philly! Holy hell I couldn't sit from the 2nd inning on, I'm pretty sure Segura scores if that went into the RF corner in the 8th.

Also tired of the umps for giving Harper a 2 inch smaller zone and literally no comment from what should be a neutral commentary team.

 

Good Morning. So I think I figured it out. When I wear my hoodie I bought from Amsterdam and not take a shower during the early part of the game, the Astros have won….

‘When I didn’t wear my Amsterdam hoodie or took a shower during part of the game (JV coughed of the lead during my shower during Game 1, LMJ gave 5 homers when I was in the shower during Game 3). So I told my wife, I needed to showered and have my Amsterdam hoodie on by the start of the game during Game 4 and 5. Looks like it’s the same plan for Game 6.

 

For me, it was I had to run on the treadmill in the morning, fast until at least lunch and wear my 2017 World Series T-shirt during the game. We're doing our part as totally sane and reasonable fans. (My wife disagrees.)

 

Chaz and Mancini with the plays of the game! I was calling for Diaz at first for defense only but so glad Mancini came through in the spot. His face when it was hit was like Oh ****.

I was also calling for Chaz to move to left and Dubon in center but inderstand why we didn’t do that. Dubon doesn’t catch that ball which is why I was grateful Dusty and Co. didn’t over think any of those moves.

 

I almost sold mine but held off. Gotta be in the stadium if we win another WS. Big money though for club seats.

Where does Chas’ catch rank among greatest WS defensive plays of all time? Best ever? Top 3? Top 5? Have to think the entire context of the situation vaults it into the top 3 territory, but I genuinely can’t think of other spectacular defensive WS plays from the last 20 years for whatever reason.

 

Jake Meyers would not have caught it either. Hoping those great plays by Mancini and Chaz will give them confidence and help them get locked in on any at bats the rest of the WS.
