The announcers also made a good point, he could have easier bobbled the ball and ball could have gotten loose. Now I'm not sure what was more impressive. Him reacting and getting his glove to the ball or him hanging onto it and touching 1st.

Mancini trade pick up was worth it for that one play. That ball was hit HARD.

It was 110 mph off the bat.

That's what Amsinger said on MLB tonight.

Phillies next two starters aint Scherzer or Strausburg level

    Win this in 6

Awesome outcome (historically even) in Philly after the dejection of Game 3

    Go Stros !!!

Closer than it should have been. I was so upset with Dusty dragging Mancini out there to pitch hit with two in scoring position. Why not Vasquez?
But, Mancini redeemed himself with that great play at first. Verlander did enough but wasn't dominant. Thought Montero was going to give it all away. Other thoughts: Alvarez looks so lost at the plate, like he has never batted in the big league. I can't figure it out. Tucker is swinging at air but at least made contact a time or two. Pena and Altuve were the difference. If the Phillies (a very unlikeable bunch) can win two straight in Houston, then they deserve the Series. I don't think they can, and I certainly hope they don't. I am trotting you know who out there for game seven if there is one.

That's easily a triple because if you notice it looks like Tucker wasn't going to stop running past the play until he reached Pasadena.

Unfortunately for him that was about an 83 mph hit off the bat.

Didn't realize Chas was from PA. That's gotta be a dream moment for him.
