The same guy that spouted right wing propaganda about the January 6th committee, QAnon and MAGA rhetoric, told police that he wanted to break Pelosi's kneecaps because she was “‘leader of the pack’ of lies told by the Democratic Party.”

Those were De Pape's words. You still trying to find some other way to keep yourself from having to acknowledge that he was a right wing fanatic is pathetic.

There is zero proven first-hand evidence accessible on the Internet today that he spouted right wing propaganda. Zero. If there ever was any, it has been purged from the internet. It's all hearsay at this point, driven by left-wing media outlets, and picked up by politicians with a vested interest in pushing that narrative.

On the other hand, I have shown evidence (which is still online) that

• there was no trace on the internet of "his blogs" having been found before Oct. 28th or after Oct. 29th
• his former life partner and mother of his three children said he was aligned with her leftist beliefs
• she also said he was mentally ill and thought he was Jesus for a year
• he worked for Indybay, a leftist/socialist website and activist community
• he attended anti-war protests with the Indybay community
• Indybay's enemy no. 1 are the Pelosis, they held many protests at the same house where the attack happened
• very clearly, hateful rhetoric against the Pelosis does not only come from the Right, but also from the Left
• the Left seems to have staged more protests in front of the Pelosis' house - in fact, this seems to have been a very regular occurence
• much of the rhetoric at Indybay is exactly in line with what he confessed to having said during the attack on Mr. Pelosi

These aren't one-offs - it's the same tone over at least 15 years when it comes to how the indybay.org "community" describes the Pelosis - "liars, corrupt, filthy rich, thugs" - all very much in line with what longtime indybay activist David DePape said when he attacked Mr. Pelosi.

SAN FRANCISCO -- The former partner of the man accused of violently attacking Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband at their San Francisco home on Friday is revealing new details about the suspect.

"Hello this is Gypsy Taub. I am the ex-life partner of David DePape and the mother of his children," said Oxane Taub, calling from the Californian Institution For Women in Corona, California.

Taub -- better known as "Gypsy" -- is a well-known nudist activist who spoke with ABC7 in 2013 at a protest in San Francisco.

"We just wanted to test the waters to see how much the police department respected our first amendment rights," said Taub in 2013. Now she's revealing a longtime relationship with David DePape.

"He is mentally ill. He has been mentally ill for a long time," said Taub, who last year was found guilty on 20 counts, including the attempted abduction of a 14-year-old boy near his Berkeley high school.

Taub told ABC7 News that she and DePape met more than 20 years ago. Together they raised their two sons and her daughter until about seven years ago.

She described a time DePape returned home after disappearing for a year.

"He came back in very bad shape. He thought he was Jesus. He was constantly paranoid, thinking people were after him," Taub said. "And it took a good year or two to get back to, you know, being halfway normal."


Tara Campbell: "Did he ever show any aggression towards politicians, were his political beliefs extreme in your opinion?"

Taub: "Well when I met him, he was only 20 years old ,and he didn't have any experience in politics, and he was very much in alignment with my views and I've always been very progressive.
