Pretty much nobody considers Sengun can be comparable to Paolo in terms of his potential. LOL. WOW that's unexpected.
Jabari is thrown into the starting line up, but when u watch the offense, he's just there most of the time doing nothing. They play different position and now the Sengun stock is rising, Smith is neglected even more, theres a reason y many folks think Smith is a bust. He's not even be used properly.
Bro, you have to watch more games. Talking about rookies and 2nd year players as comparisons is way too early. Like 5 years too early, way way too early. Draft position is important because Banchero was drafted couple months ago?
And Paolo’s body and shooting aren’t open to development because Paolo looks like a number one pick? Seems a bit circular reasoning considering Paolo has only played a handful games so far.
If Paolo doesn't want himself turn into HULK, then I would say his body is already a finished product. Shooting is already good too, but it's also open to development, shooting 3s with 45% would make him a GOD.
Who says Jabari is a bust? Just adapting. I am very happy Houston drafted him rather than Paolo. Banchero has always been considered " most NBA ready". It is predicted but I believe Jabari's career will be more shiny than Paolo albeit bad start. If you check my posts you will see that I was very sorry for jabai due to Alperen demotion. Lad became lonely, no help from KPJ+JGreen. The more Sengun,Jabari,Tari plays the better we will see.
Disagreed. There’s more to working on your body than strength. Paolo hasn’t been a good shooter at all… he’s been scoring on volume. Maybe actually watch some Paolo before making a thread about it “Rookie”. Which former poster are you?
Respectully disagreed. Paolo is amazing and wonderful, I watched him a lot that's why I brought the topic so you guys could bash Sengun by showing how potentially inferior he is compared to Paolo. Former poster? DmoneyGangBang?
No it'a real discussion but you guys continously undermine a player's potential with nonsense arguments. That's just sad. Maybe you will get used to be banged banged by a "rookie" I enjoy feeding little cute puppies like you so that you may realize how nonsense your arguments are.
Lol …“nonsense arguments” like yours? You said that Paolo looks more like a finished project after 10 games…. Suggesting he’s already reached his potential because of how well he’s played. Seems like you are the one getting gang banged in the thread YOU started. Pretty sad “rookie”.
Ima b honest this doesn't feel like a real discussion. More like another way to prop up sengun by sengun fans. We don't need the comparison between the two cause they aren't even playing the same position. I'm pretty 100% sure Paolo isn't going to b a center. They aren't in the same draft class. Like this thread would have been more entertaining to compare Mobley v sengun or anyone else in his draft class. Sengun is gonna b a great player and the future is bright, I really don't understand the point of comparing the two. Rookie of 10ish games vs sengun, ain't really much to talk about. There's better way to prop sengun up.
I liked you started this thread, we can check in 1,5,10,15 years but I personally would compare Sengun to E.Mobley, more similar players. Have a look this year' stats. Evan Mobley: 21 years old, 6'11",98 kgs 15.7 ppg 6.1 rpg 2.1 apg 58.9 fg % 78.6 FT % 22.2 3pfg % 1.0 spg 1.0 bpg 2.6 to 3.0 pf in 34.3 minutes per game Alperen Sengun: 20 years old, 6'11",110kgs 16.7 ppg 10.3 rpg 1.6 apg 56.8 fg % 78.9 FT % 27.3 3pfg % 0.6 spg 1.0 bpg 1.7 to 3.3 pf in 27.1 minutes per game Very similar stats even Mobley plays 7.2 minutes more. If Alperen played 34 minutes per game his stats would be much better (although fouls and turnovers woud increase). Hope Sengun will be better day by day.
