Oh I forgot we only play hyped up „stars” from America until European doesnt leave us with choice. Just like Sengun had to do

Probably because Mathews is probably better at "staying in his lane" and understands his role very well and won't disrupt a flow of what ever we call our offense. JC obviously is significantly more talented and can do more on the court than Mathews but he becomes another player to feed the ball to and is not that good without the ball in his hands.

Nix for all his faults is a solid ball handler that can handle NBA defensive pressure without losing the the ball. That's why he gets playing time. JC definitely is overall more talented.

Yes theoretically Garuba would cover the paint better with Sengun and not only that he is more switchable than Smith. Euro connection would definitely work there as Sengun/Garuba got to know each other for long time personally.

Both plays for the team success.

Sengun 5 at offense, 4 at defense
    Garuba vice versa.
    Tari or KMJ at 3.
    Very good idea.

    My ideal starting five would be like;

    1-2023 draft pick(True PG-assist oriented)
    2-Jalen
    3-Tari/KMJ
    4-Garuba
    5-Sengun

You're talking about some much needed pg iq mentorship that Silas lacks.

It’s sad he isn’t even good about something which was single-handedly advertised for his offense. We knew he was offensively limited even in college but I didn’t expect him to be this bad. Hope I eat my words in the next few games, highly unlikely though.

we lost a year of our lives and basketball, 4 FRPs we could have got in trades(by depreciating our vets), sengun got denied of roy, had r****ded and backwarded his development to get us this overhyped guy heralded as a second coming of jesus...
tanking never works and it shows
    ps
still have to give him some slack cause the kid is playing for the worst coach in the entire nba(3 years in a row, a son of the former coach holding the worst record in nba history LOL) and his 3 pt trainer is dr lucas who overcame addiction but never ever taught anyone to shoot...

He needs at least one or two seasons for his consistent Offense.

I definitely have concerns for Jabari but ya it does mimic the rhetoric with Jalen in his first half of his rookie season. People forget that Jabari is 19 years old.

I'm still somewhat concerned relative to Green from last season mainly because at least with Green even when he struggled you saw flashes of "omg did he just do that!" stretches. He also has shown that he can dominate a game through scoring in the summer league and like every 5th game in the regular season during the first half. That's the main difference. Jalen had specific moments and entire games where we as fans had moments like these:

We haven't had that yet with Jabari and that is concerning.

Two different archetypes. Typical big men in the league usually show out faster, but Jabari is more of a super sized wing. Finding his niche in the offense and working on some of his shortcomings. Im super impressed that he can take a few dribbles and get to the rim. Open outside shots will fall in time. His one dribble midrange game will be bread and butter in playoff scenarios. Jalen is a high flyer who will give you more jaw dropping moments, but he struggled mightily as well year 1 and is stuck in a little rut currently. Takes time. Its all about chemistry.

Jabari also needs to get a pass whenever he is open. There have been many times that he didn't get a pass even when he is unguarded because, more often than not, the opposing teams collapse to pack the paint when KPJ and Green start to drive to the basket. They know that these two hardly pass the ball regardless of what the defense is doing. Jabari also should be moving and making cuts to the basket and using his height inside. The team is just so disorganized at this point. Last night was a bit of an eye-opener when they showed some semblance of ball movement and organized offense when Nix, yes him, was directing the offense.
