The 3D clips looked pretty amazing to be honest. Yet I still don't care about this franchise. Also, it looked like they show a little bit of female chest occasionally yet consistently. Small boobs slipping through rag-like clothing. But maybe they edit that out for the release. But GOOD LUCK, you pervs.

Is this really going to be 190 minutes long? James Cameron has lost his ****ing mind.

Netflix is making a live action Aang Gang show. Has a strong cast, but the original show creators left the project over creative differences, so.... that is concerning.

Really not super interested in this one. If my wife wants to see it I will go with her. The first one was good.

Will probably go and see this just because I have never seen a 3d movie at the theater this should at least be stunning visually but I don't know about 3 hrs?

The rerelease was just as enjoyable as the first time in 3D. I can't wait for this new one. IMAX 3D and then a 2nd time in Dolby 3d. Can't say i was a fan of the 48fps high frame rate scenes. The re-release only had a few scenes in it so it didn't hurt my experience. I don't know if the new one is all done in 48fps but i found it a bit jarring and odd for my eyes to adjust to it when it's supposed to make it better? Maybe peoples eyes work differently because a lot of people love it or hate it. I really hope it's not 3hours 12 minutes in 48fps. These really great films that are 2.5 to 3 hours go by so fast that it doesn't feel that long. 3 hours of Zack Snyder slow motion is not equal to 3 hours of the master Jim Cameron.

I'll see it just because its a rare non superhero big budget movie, which I find refreshing.

But no movie needs to be 3 hrs long.

I thought the high frame rate helps with the 3d effect

Supposedly. For me, it makes me feel cross eyed and found myself having to to take off the glasses during those scenes.

I saw clips of the NEW one at D23 WITH 3D glasses. It looked coo. And you see some blue people nip slip. But I imagine they cut that from the release. I didn't like the first Avatar AT ALL. GOOD LUCK

I don't know what to think. I like the water aspect, but it looks like the same movie. And that's not saying much. His characters just never resonated. His creatures were no good. And the world itself doesn't make you want to explore it. The script to simple and predictable. Then you have the whole we are one with nature thing that seems to get annoying. We probably don't need this, but if he can push some boundaries visually then good for everyone.

Whatever happened to the having intermissions during long movies?

This is why I see very few movies in the theaters anymore.

The knock on Cameron has always been he doesn't direct dialogue well and his characters are uninteresting. He's great at the action, spectacle and world building.

The entire cast of Aliens disagrees. Some of the most memorable characters on screen, ever.
