I see progress in both the players and the defense. The offense looks in far more disarray than last year, especially when Jabari is on the floor.

I think the offensive issues will get resolved with time. Very very young team, they are going to need more time than veteran teams to "get it". Rockets aren't going to fire Silas mid-season anyway no matter how much fans complain.

Everyone just needs to be patient. Young players don't develop overnight and they don't just develop from what happens on the court. Look at change year to year versus game to game. They are working on one thing at a time so it's going to look bad for a while.

I do find the rotations puzzling and clearly not Silas's strength...that or he is making talent earn minutes over vets.

Makes sense, last season started with one struggling rookie dragging the team down, this season we have a struggling rookie and and struggling 2nd year player in the starting lineup struggling.

There's a scenario where they both turn their seasons around where the Rockets finish very strong.

 

Regardless of whether or not they are gonna fire him and I agree they wont fire him, but the reason people are angry is ultimately the decisions made by the coach are awful and may actual ruin the future. Its clear SIlas has no idea how to coach young guys and develop them. He just wants KPJ to be the next Luka and nothing else seems to matter. SO people are going to show their fustration at that. We've done all this losing and still havent gotten a #1 pick and to boot we have to watch this goofy ass dumb **** grinning like an idiot with the media every night. Same things you guys are saying now you said last year. You will say the same thing next year when we get either scoot or victor if we're somehow lucky and this idiot wont know how to use them. They'll stand in the corner while KPJ dribbles and waves them off. Jalen, Jabari and Sengun all struggle because this idiot doesnt know how to use them. People blame the players for what is actually poor coaching. Both Jalen and Sengun were well coached before they got here and they were unselfish players they tried to make the right play everytime and then they get here and well you know the rest. Its dishearteneing to watch that.

 

I could not find the instance where I put you on ignore, so I cannot say anything to back up what I said, it is just what I recall from memory. Might as well be wrong, but the reason I usually put people on ignore is some type of personal attack, not related to basketball.
