Saw it multiple times in the 4th... ignore all the open players and run into 2-3 bigger defenders at the rim so he can jack up an ugly miss. It's the KPJ special, got to love it!

 

He needs to learn first that if he's in the paint and sees 2-3 guys waiting for him, that means 1-2 people are open somewhere else.

As for KPJ - mixed bag tonight, he scored ok, but he came out flat, he needs to find a way to fit with Alpi....they need to find SOMETHING to hang their hat on they are the 2 best players.

I was thinking maybe it is best to separate them to get two equal strong fives. KPJ+Bruno+KMJ on one(KMJ seems to fit well with KPJ too), Sengun+Green+Bari+JC on the other.

 

Yao Ming Mania YOF, LOF, SOF. At some point it does get weird that rooting hard for any non black player keeps annoying (black and white)people. Let them have their craze for their countrymen. Let them have someone their kids can look up to as someone who looks like them and grew up like them and speaks their language that made it big. White people having their great white hypes is always a problem too. Who cares? It's perfectly and completely natural and nothing racist about it.
They're no more annoying than any player only fans who follow whatever team is hot and whatever team their favorite player plays for next. With the game going global, it was bound to be this way anyway. Someone from Turkey has no reason to stay loyal to the Houston Rockets just as someone from Taiwan or China didn't.
I have seen no evidence that they don't root for other players form other countries and different race(China goes insane for black NBA and latin soccer stars), so what's worse is the people out here refusing to root for that guy from China or that guy from Turkey or that guy from Slovenia and it does end up looking pretty racist just as it did with rooting against Bird because he was white or Magic because he was black as if those were the only two options.

I for one will be 1st to sign up for the first major Latino NBA superstar Only Fans account. Won't change that i wanted to be Like Mike growing up and thought he was the most handsome alpha dude ever and he and Hakeem and Jerry Rice are my GOATS and i have zero chance of ever resembling them in my wildest dreams.

Nah I just pop in to browse the last page and respond these days. Mild Racism is usually a two way street in my experience. They feel people are being racist to them, the answer is be racist in return. I doubt its true hatred. Real evil racism. Around here its more a xenophobia issue.

What is the correct wording to describe this? Verbal is on my ignore, I saw it because @RudyTBag , said he reported the post, and I wondered what it is.

Racism is rare but it is not like nothing out of line is going on. And the people who are trying to mess with SOFs are equally bad, if not worse.

 

VC started going off because SOFs started with the race baiting and racist posts…he didn’t have that type of energy before then

I was on the sidelines chillin, just minding my business, until posts like these started being made out the blue by insecure SOFs

I just realized there are a lot of racists here...they can't accept that a white guy turns out to be the best player in the team.

 

One thing I noticed about KPJ is his lack of first step and burst which makes him over dribble. One of the things that made Harden deadly was his first step to get him to the rim whenever the defense fell asleep.

It seems like KPJ really has to finess his way past his defenders with a ton of feints and movement, and most of the time he can't get past the defender cleanly 1v1.

He sort of plays at the same pace as Paul George, who is able to get off jump shots much cleaner.

 

I wrote a long paragraph and erased it because there is no need to keep it longer than this. There is just no excuse for the tone in Verbal's post.

 

If by "going off" you mean spewing racist comments in return, you'd be correct.

To get race baited on CF, and then go on a racist tirade yourself, is not a defensible position.

 

It also doesn't impress me to use SOFs, are any OFs, as an excuse to slam one of our most awesome teenagers.

I highly suspect that the slamming that occurs in response to the OFs is a sneaky way to say how you really feel... Boohoo, Turkish fans love them some Sengun. Chinese fans love Yao. Jeremy Lin still sucks. Get over it.

 

Where’s all this energy for SOFs calling people racist if they dare make 1 criticism of Sengun and race baiting all over the place?
