I wonder how many other fanbases would like to be as miserable as ours is and whining about performances over 4 World Series in 6 years? We've been spoiled by greatness. Yes, I want more. I'm disappointed in the performance last night as it was a full organizational loss. But this series is far from over and we're right back in the driver's seat with a win tonight.
The thing is winning a second world series with this core would mean a lot more than winning the first to everyone outside of Houston. This is their third opportunity to do it since they failed to the last two times. They need to prove they can do it without the 2017 cheating scandal no matter how much it benefited them or not. It would be nice to have a world series win without an asterisk next to it.
