Sabonis is literally a top 20 player in the league. Stop dude. It’s too obvious. Is this one of those things where the average athlete big man can’t be a star, like Luck and Lawrence can’t be mobile because, well………they don’t look like what you consider mobile.
Doing what he is doing at his age is not average, it is exceptional. He was a teenager a little over 3 months ago. He barely gets the ball, and it appears that he hasn't even played particularly well yet, but he has jumped from a 16.0 PER to a 22.4 PER in his second season as a Houston Rocket. That is freaking unbelievable and every Houstonian should be ecstatic. I'll add that we should all be ecstatic about KPJ's development and maturation as well. (Also, Sengun is not Sabonis. He is something very different. I know it hurts you guys when we can't find a straight-line comparison for a player, but Sengun is unique...) Sabonis per36 Steals: 0.9 Blocks: 0.6 Sengun per36 Steals: 1.4 Blocks: 1.6 The big thing to watch out for with Sengun is the shooting. If it makes a couple of jumps, he gets really scary.

LeBron, Giannis, AD, Kawhi, Luka, Jokic, Embiid, KD, Kyrie, Donovan, Gobert, KAT, Edwards, Trae, Murray, Steph, Tatum, Brown, PG13, Middleton, Siakam, Derozan, LaVine, Ja, Jimmy, Zion, Ingram, Dame, Booker, Beal… there’s 30 and there’s more guys I could’ve added. So tell me how Sabonis is a top 20 player again? Take 10 guys off that list that he’s better than.

I could have sworn somebody said Sabonis was a TOP 20 PLAYER in the league and then later switched to TOP 20 BIG MAN in the league AND then they added another 10 players who is better, so that puts him even further back on the list. The last line equate to a stronger defense. If someone gets past the first line, which is common in the NBA with all of the great wing players, then there is another line of defense.....unfortunately, we we're spoiled with Hakeem and Yao, now we have Sengun. We need more height in the paint!
