i thought this was going to be a thread about the hootie and the blowfish song and i said to myself "fatty is so gay". then i saw it was a thread about the lady gaga song and i said to myself "fatty is so gay".
Well that would make sense as Darius Rucker did go into country music or was that sideline? And Fatso loved himself some AC/DC but also he loved himself some sidelining into country music.
Mango - I applaud your efforts of getting this thread some direction but I am concerned about your sleeping habits. I thought I was having problems sleeping through the night…you’re posting at prime time Fatso drunk hours but we know you’re not drunk. You okay old friend?
ive personally done a little sidelining as a country musician myself so i certainly dont begrudge fatty for doing so as well. but his taste is music is pretty questionable. his music tastes resemble those of a 55 year old lady.
My natural tendency is to be a Night Owl when I don't have a fixed schedule. Drinking? Been there and done that years ago. Maybe 5 - 6 years ago, I was given a mixed drink at a Christmas party. I drank 1/2 of it and dumped the rest because I no longer had a taste for the stuff.
For those that think that the songs that I posted were a strange collection, it was about the stages of a relationship going downhill rather than trying to capture a specific musical style. Keeping in mind who started this thread 1. You are leaving for a while, but it will be good when you come back. 2. Frustrated, tortured etc with the relationship. 3. Acceptance of the reality that the relationship is done. 4. We are done!
afternoon fatty might be a pleasant time. but 3am fatty involves sitting in your apartment by yourself in your underwear with "every rose has its thorn" on repeat, drinking screwdrivers except youre out of OJ so you use kroger brand orange soda and youre out of vodka so you use whats left of that bottle of boones strawberry hill youve had sitting in your fridge for a couple weeks. maybe you cold-call a girl you had a crush on in high school 35 years ago, but she doesnt remember you and so you call her a slut and hang up on her. then you go on clutchfans and start a thread about how you hooked up with this girl from high school who is super hot and how she and her friends are all crazy, but like to have a good time and you post a youtube link to the song "my heart will go on" by celine dion and call it a night. honestly, that sounds like a fun time too. fatty is the man!
