[Official] World Series Phillies vs. Astros

I’m calling it a must win tomorrow.
We don’t win tomorrow and we are not winning 3 straight against this team.

 

Rain delay only moved things around. Their bullpen game is now game 5 instead of tonight. And McCullers would have **** the bed anyway so whatever that they had Suarez pitching a gem tonight when it really didn't matter.

 

So far they have been whooping our asses

Man I wish we still had Hinch. He knew when to pull his starters.... And didn't live by the give the 5 innings book....

 

At this point the team that wins 2 games in a row likely wins it.

Can someone explain to me why the Astros are the only team that gets hate for cheating when there were multiple teams that did, as well as the Red Sox, who were known to have cheated in 2018, yet the Astros are the only damn team that people give crap to. The Red Sox HARDLY EVER get any hate for the cheating they did to win a World Series, but the Astros are constantly getting shat on. It really pisses me off that people are blatantly hypocritical in this regard.

Astros get hate because they've owned the AL for years now.

If it wasn't the cheating scandal it would be something else.

To not be a hated team means your team is irrelevant and no one is worried about them.

Our six ALCS titles SHOULD have, at minimum, 3 WS titles to go with them. Hinch gave away one & Dusty's doing his damndest to spit the bit here.

The Astros can still take this thing in spite of him, in seven. Damn man, we should be up 2-1.

 

Phillies undefeated at home. So they are due to lose the next two games. I still think Astros will win the World Series.

 

So the Astros would have gotten shut out tomorrow instead?

The delay had an effect in that the Phillies don't have to do a bullpen game if it goes 7, but it didn't make Lance or the offense suck this game.

**** it. Terrible game. Still in the world series with a chance to win it. Could be worse we could be one of those teams with 100+ wins who have been watching from the couch since the division series.

*Huge home run in Game 2 in 2017 not withstanding.
