Let's just deport all the illegal immigrants, whether illegally crossing the border or visa overstays.

    Let me get this right.

Nancy Pelosi is target of endless right wing propaganda.

January 6th right wing Trumpers call out for Nancy Pelosi in particular and rush the Capitol looking for her office.

Right wing propaganda against Pelosi, some of it calling for violence continues.

Nancy Pelosi and her security detail are out of town.

A man known to be mentally unstable and supports right wing talking points takes a hammer and breaks into the Pelosi house asking for Nancy Pelosi.

Her husband Paul Pelosi is in his house in the middle of the night and has underwear on.

Paul Pelosi calms the matter down and is able to call the police.

During all the drama and pressure of the police entering the Pelosi house, the man takes the hammer from the elderly Paul Pelosi and hits him in the head which requires emergency surgery.

The police arrest the man who says that he went after Nancy Pelosi because she is the representative of the “lying democrats” and he intended to break her knees.

Rather than being disturbed or concerned that the second or third most powerful political leader in the USA was almost tortured after years of violent rhetoric…. We have assholes thinking he was gay because he had underwear on, in his own house in the middle of the night.
We have dick heads claiming that it is some sort of conspiracy false flag event by the Democrats where Paul Pelosi is smashed in the face.

The level of entitlement and derangement is staggering. How about we just stop the violent propaganda and stop the blatant lying and nominate decent people that don’t have criminal investigations against them (Mendez, Trump, Paxton), that don’t undermine democracy (Trump) and don’t let their grown children treat the USA like a glory hole (Trump/Biden).

Everyone should be ashamed of this ****. From gun shots at Rand Paul, to people wanting to cap SCOTUS justices to trying to torture the Majority leader of the House.

This is going to hurt us all a lot and is a reflection of our culture and society.

The fact that 1/3 of the country believes this is a Pelosi false flag is disgusting. So is having both parties decide science is relative.

You rarely ever get someone to say directly they were influenced by x, y, z. That's too unnecessary of a high bar. What exactly he has said and what has the GOP said can be used to make a judgment.

I think he was likely influenced by GOP talks on Pelosi and the Democrats as "evil" (or use other words) and showcases of violence through both visual (guns, swords) and speech (execute, knock out, punch, striking fear, should be roughened up, hit her, threaten them, slam down, coming with my Springfield, nail to the wall, heads on pikes, **** the voting, let's get right to the violence .... ). This type of showcase of political violence is not new but has become much more common since the MAGA movement.

I quote again this from the article above: "Threats to lawmakers are not rare but have dramatically increased in the past several years. Since 2016, when Donald Trump was elected president, threats of violence against lawmakers recorded by the Capitol Police have surged from roughly 900 cases in 2016 to 9,625 in 2021. Meanwhile, the share of threats that federal authorities pursue for criminal prosecution in the same period ranged from 7 percent to 17 percent of cases referred by the Capitol Police."

Yes that sounds like a smart and well thought out idea. Let’s hunt down the 10-15 MILLION illegal immigrants in the USA and forcefully remove them from the USA. Then there are the 4-6 MILLION children that are US citizens but their parents are not. Then there are the MILLIONS of spouses of these people.

Im sure that won’t lead to a civil war, martial law, suspension of basic rights or economic collapse.

I put this idea right next to your idea to have every business in the USA having armed security.

You are a bright man and we may well get along well in person. If nothing else I find your opinions interesting- but this idea is at best not well thought out.

When they teach professional de-escalation they tell you to be calm and to use words like “friend” and other like terms.

It is very possible he called the man “friend” in an effort to keep the situation calm.

As a lawyer, the federal government seminars taught us something similar as it can lead to a better resolution.

It is very likely that mental illness played a large part in this. I don’t think anyone is contesting that. Some mentally I’ll people are very easily influenced.

Well unless you are those people who explicitly said Trump called them to DC on 1/6 to "Stop the steal"

I've been taught and have taught de-escalation and yes that is exacly what you should do.

Why do people think I sound like I'm so calm and reasonable here. ;)

It’s crazy how people don’t realize that we only exist in equilibrium with each other and nature… and the universe. Idiots.

Interesting. I would think an objective observer of this thread would conclude the "triggered" poster has been the one frantically posting and defending conspiratorial misinformation at an absurdly prolific rate.

Their children and spouses can go with them or remain in the US, whichever they prefer (assuming their home country would accept them).
I'm sure it won't either, as there is no need for martial law, there won't be a civil war over it, and illegal immigrants have no basic right to be in the United States. It won't lead to economic collapse either. We can either increase the number of visas granted, or those jobs will be opened up to legal domestic labor.
Not every business, just those that have a large amount of brazen theft.
That you disagree with it doesn't mean it wasn't well thought out.

If it was possible to just snap your fingers and deport 10 million people why didn’t Trump do it when he ran almost specifically on immigration, and had complete party control of government for 2 years? Shouldn’t you be mostly upset with him?? He kind of broke his promise to you that Biden didn’t. Isn’t that worse?

    @ROXRAN
    @Salvy @J.R.
I know this man here who was beaten to death in the same city today was not politically motivated but just a random attack
Don’t get why the young people in that city hate old people so much
