There’s no equivalent to being the best team and losing repeatedly to DIFFERENT Cinderella teams year after year in the NBA. The Astros are basically the MLB version of the 90s Buffalo Bills.
Cavs were overwhelming underdogs every series and won one in a 1/10000 miracle, totally different. This doesn’t exist in basketball
Dont get me wrong I've loved this run, but potentially losing 3 straight world series almost negates it all. It just depends on what your expectations are. 90's Braves or 90's Yankees. This team has been too talented over the years to lose 3 straight. It's now leaving the thought process of "oh the other team is so hot" to "these mf's are choking and have no heart." Anyway if we win tomorrow I'll be singing a different tune.
Their equivalent is the Warriors. Being this good would guarantee multiple championships in the NBA. Baseball just doesn’t work that way. That said, multiple championships is still in the cards.

Radio is going to be all over Dusty in the morning drive in. That being said he did start Hensley and it’s not his fault the offense is so inept against their # 3 pitcher. Craine is fuming at Click right now for not landing an impact bat at the deadline though.
The funny thing is the one world series we will have won we had no business winning because we didn't have a closer or much of a backend of a bullpen. Just goes to show you World Series are a different breed.
Dusty is costing us the World Series. We have the best bullpen by a mile and he refuses to use it. It already cost us game 1. And it is about to cost us game 3. and mcCullers out there throwing change up after change up. I’m sorry this is on Dusty 100%. He hasn’t won a World Series for a reason.
