you gave me links to search engines...not proof of your claim that the attacker had blogs put up and taken down in a two day span.

again, i dont know why you are being so defensive about me asking for you to provide a source for your claim. im curious to see it. perhaps you could sway my opinion if you actually provided links backing up your claim.

 

These are the two blogs I have been posting about. Again, they appear to have been uploaded on the day of the attack and taken down again a day later.

Those were the actual "right-wing" blogs the media is referring to. They were only up for a day.

Like you, I was making a good faith effort to find out what the guy actually posted. I am usually pretty good at researching stuff online. There is nothing else online and these two blogs are the only ones that were attributed to him. That - and allegedly some old Facebook posts which are also no longer accessible - were the only basis for the allegation that he is "right-wing".

Then of course there is a confession now where he says he wanted to break Nancy Pelosi's kneecaps or something and he speaks of "Democrats' lies", but that is not yet conclusive for me as proof that he is right-wing - or if he is just a paranoid, drugged up, mentally ill lunatic. Or a mix of all of the above, plus some left-wing extremism.

I just don't know - I wanted to find out, which is why I was looking for these blogs.

The frens website was registered in his name on August 8th. The first post was entitled Mary Poppins.

He was also active on 4Chan. It's all quite detailed in the article I linked.

Why does it matter?

We know DePape admitted he was after Pelosi for political reasons that are aligned with the right wing. We know his right wing internet activity. That won't change no matter who opened the door.

The guy admitted his motives and espoused his political philosophy. Yet, you guys keep trying to deny it. You're searching so desperately. It's all very plain.

 

The SCOTUS harassment and reactions to it are bad but it's different than what concerns me here. I'm not even asking people to care about Paul Pelosi.

It's that everything on the right gets twisted into a conspiracy. EVERYTHING. Every news story that comes out they spin into a "you can't trust the official story." Everything.
