I do admit the one thing that irks me is the folks who says Sengun's post game is limited, or only has one basic move. and then u see this sht https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/sengun-with-the-dream-shake-on-zubac.317492/#post-14325066 Makes me wonder who actually watches the games vs box score watchers since they can't stomach watching Ls.
The forum has its bullies and racists, usually directing their anger to sengun only fans, stand against them if you want a challenge. If there is any discrimination against Sengun it is because he is unconventional player with high bbiq working under the most incapable coach with no veteran presence, not because he is white.
as of right now it is Sengun…he is playing the best at this point in the season EG and KPJ are in the top 3 as well, and then the rest are either struggling massively or are playing well, but don’t get much PT like Tari
Stay away if you spot someone who uses words 'pretty, cute' to describe the efficient plays. There is no way to have a reasonable discussion there.
just believe whatever you want but you could come up with more than just ad hominem, maybe your IQ isn’t enough. I already explained by simple logic why I dislike KPJ’s game as the way he plays is against TEAM PLAY. He hurts the team by dribbling too much, going for ISOs too much. Everything he does is just a sabotage to success. None of things I said have something to do with racism. Playing like a thug means to say he enjoys unlimited freedom under Silas without any reward or punishment system. You must be enjoying that a lot. LOL Unlike you, I can back up what I’ve written with facts. You can keep barking.
Certainly I can see a resemblance with that considering KPJ left the court in the middle of the game last season.
The dumbass calling people racists based off nothing is crying about ad hominems…man, go sit your little ass down somewhere
It’s about your perception. If you are a person of color, then I would say he is white but let’s say is he white for someone living in Russia or Finland? Maybe not.
Best player or not, I still insist that he should be on a facilitating role much more. On a limited number of games played, KPJ has a true shooting percentage below league average and consistent with his previous years (who would have guessed, we all thought he would explode this year!!!). He doubled the number of 2pt attempts, which is his low percentage play, he cut down on catch and shoots, his strongest suit, by 40% (well, hard to get a catch and shoot when you hold on to the ball that much). His assist numbers are down, despite playing more minutes. This is the least of my worries, because he does not have any interest to pass the ball in a meaningful way, he just gets some base number of assists due to his position, regardless of the number his playmaking is non-existent. Still it dipped to a new low. Gordon similarly has no ability to playmake. He can shoot 3s or drive to the basket to score, get a foul or lose the ball. Be it successful or not, I don't see much value of playing a veteran for himself in a developmental year. The only time the team really creates something is when Sengun gets the ball at the high post. This should be used more. I am not claiming that he would be great at it but 1) it would get others more involved in the game compared to the other guards' play 2) he would make turnovers etc. but I don't think it would be worse than kpj's efficiency 3) Even it is, if we can give multiple years and full playing time to develop kpj, which at this point, i think is a failed project, we can definitely give a quarter of that time to Sengun in a developmental year. Sengun gets 2-3 assists in the very limited opportunities he gets at the high post. Using sengun as a screen setter for kpj, only to make an inefficient play later bad on many ends. Just use Bruno there if that is what you can do with kpj, on a more limited time, and use Sengun more with the second unit in a facilitating role.
just to correct a disinfo agent Reeko that Im not only Sengun fan. All want is team success. I believe Sengun is a cornerstone as much as Jalen and Jabari.
