This is kinda sad, never seen EG lose it before like that , one of my favorite Rockets for always remaining professional. Can't blame him though. My hope is that the team understands they will lose a lot, and they know what to expect, and the locker room is fine.
The final minute collapse was discouraging, at least team tried. Not sure why Alves posts stuff like that, he doesn't have to be a Gordon fan, but Gordon was in a Rocket uniform trying to win the game for us. There's a bit of a vitrol in that tone. It's like if it's not a specific Rocket player "approved" of taking the shot, then they can't take it. Out of Gordon (45.5%), KPJ (38.5%), Green (23.5%) and Jabari (25%), Gordon was most efficient. The other three didn't shoot well tonight... like at all.
Paulo Alves just mumbles when he talks. English is not his main language. Nobody understands what he says on podcasts, including me.
Funny thing is that the tweet is pretty tame for social media standards. You'll find 1000 worse posts in our pbp thread. Gordon must be frustrated as ****.
Alves isn't some authority on the game of basketball, he's a fan like the rest of us ..... and his opinion is like ass. IDGAF if he has 7k twitter followers. woohoo.
Somebody should tell Plop Gordon that there's nothing funny at all about turning the ball over late in the game.
This guy is a fat kid who never watched or picked up a basketball before 1-2 years ago and somehow is opinionated. I fully understand and support EG because it was the best play. The most experienced and most proven player we have on both ends. He was making crucial shots in WCFs
Damn! I said the exact same thing! And I knew he was going to turn the ball over the previous play. I have said it before, the Rockets will become much better once he is traded. He's turnover prone, good shooter, plays solid defense but you can not put the ball in his hands. He's best at catch and shoot.
