Wheeler still isn’t ready to pitch game 5 per the Phillies. His arm is blown.

Astros must have cheated by leaving the roof open in Philadelphia

That's a horrific thought. Why would you pitch the WORST PITCHER OF ALL TIME on 3 days rest in game 7? Listen to yourself.

It wasn’t what I would do. It was a rumor that Dusty was thinking of pitching Verlander game 4, and I was simply trying to guess at what he might be thinking

Rumor started where? on cf’s? I mean you shouldn’t take that as actual news

Yeah, when I saw that they are pitching Syndergaard in Game 5, I knew Wheeler had an issue.

I don't think the rainout helps them much. Syndergaard pitched very well against Atlanta in the playoffs. Suarez is an average regular season starter at best... and Nola has gotten shellacked in his last two starts. The absolute worst outcome would have been playing tonight in chilly, rainy conditions, which the Astros are unaccustomed to.

They said the fumes from the illegal sticky substance by Framber somehow seeped out of Minute Maid, got caught up in the prevailing winds northeastward and has apparently caused this raging storm.

    More at 11.

    Back to you Biff.

    Astros May have lucked out.

    Rain effects grip and spin.

McCullers needs both to be effective.

Astros have played so little baseball these last few weeks.

The sweeping was nice but all the days off has not been as fun.

Wheeler has a dead arm, velocity is down. I doubt 1 day is going to make a big difference for him.

I'm not sure Verlander on short rest is necessarily a better option than McCullers. I think I might feel better having Javier pitch an inning in relief on 3 days rest than I would Verlander.

Looks like an unplanned trip. I just received new my Aunt is being sent home to Hospice care. She's essentially on life support now and probably just a matter of a few days now.

We get worked up over a game and then life happens.

Guess my stomach can stop churning. Unless it's gonna churn until we win the Series.

How about from now on, the world series takes place in host cities like 2020. Host cities have to have a roof. Seattle/ Houston/ NYM/ American Family field. I liked that about 2020. For people that like putting a ghostrider on 2nd base in extra innings, they should really consider it. $$$ revenue would not be my problem. I just want baseball played.
