ATW from what I read online you are sounding like you and Royce White would have a lot in common. Pretty awesome!

I get what you're saying, but I think a large majority of the extremist are not really physically affiliated with any one group as far as going to meetings (as crazy as that sounds) or anything like that, but they simply believe in the conspiracy theories. From my own experience my parent are not affiliated with any group per say but they buy into the nonsense none the less. When someone from the far right like MTG tweets the BS she does she has a following who believe her and for a person in congress to do that is so barbaric it makes me sick..........fine hate Nancy all you like but just like in the mafia you leave the civilians alone and you don't gloat. I really feel being civil anymore has been thrown out the back door..........and dont get me started on Don Jr and his idiotic tweets

Way to start trying to backtrack and move the goalposts.

Now in order for you to be incorrect in your propaganda spewing over the past 48 hours, the attacker now needs to be officially "AFFILIATED" with a Right Wing organized group. It's not enough if he just is a deranged followers of their conspiracies and ideologies online. He now has to be a registered member of a group, or hold a ranking position, or whatever goalposts you'll move it to.

Yesterday you were blabbing on and on about how it wasn't political.

    In the attackers OWN WORDS:

Dude... Just freaking STOP IT. You were wrong to blast out conspiracy theories that he was actually a gay lover, or it was a false flag or whatever crackpot lizard people bizarre conspiracy theory you guys pollute your minds with daily.

Please for the love of God... give it up.

Yes it appears that Pape is mentally unstable but that doesn't rule out that he had motives related to Rightwing conspiracy theories. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Also as stated earlier Berkeley attracts radicals of all kinds. Most are Left but there are also Rightwing radicals. Berekely as the place where the 1960's Free Speech movement started has attracted people who want to express all sorts of free speech from advocating for radical Marxism to Fundamentalist Christianity. Also many have views that are just across the board extreme. There are people who views that cross both Left and Rigth such as extreme distrust of the government whether it has to do with the war on drugs to the anti vaxx. It's important to note that many views that are now very prevalent in the Rightwing such as Antivaxx started with the Left.

Pape appears to be someone who had a smorgasboard of views and not with a clear ideology but certainly was being influenced by things he was getting exposed to from the Right.

Yeah, his own words are pretty damning. Some folks trying to disassociate the attacker from the right wing should just admit they were wrong and move away from this idea..

We’re so broken man. Speakers husband gets attacked and we can’t even stop at “damn man that sucks. Hope he’s alright.”

instead it has to immediately go into crackpot conspiracy theories as a way to tarnish the libs and sow more discord.

how do people not get what’s happening? They push you further and further into the crazy, desensitize you a little more with every nutty reaction to normal events so that when they need to they can pull big ones.

For the life of me I will never understand the downplaying from right wingers of embrace of violence.

Maybe it's dudes like ATW who are only right wing as far as the internet takes them but has no actual real life interaction with the American Right outside the sphere of the internet (your oath keepers type, former infantry and specifically forces veterans etc).

Ya these people embrace violence. They are addicted to the machismo hero narrative of saving some big titty blonde from some Muslims running around the woods doing dry runs for training.

It's so funny how people like ATW have such a boutique understanding of the American right.

it’s really not that hard to understand…people will do anything to sustain a narrative or agenda even if it means posting non-stop conspiracies or disbelieving facts
