It's 2022 and we're printing pieces of paper man, it's a bad look. You walk in and you hear loud printer noises. Like you're in a 3rd world country's stock trading office in the 80s or something. Very low class. Bad vibes.

And if those retirement people are venturing outside of their bubbles to vote, extra strong post-covid flu fixna go HAM on they ass. Good luck.

Voting should not be prone to mechanical problems or human error. I saw two issues when I voted.

The voting machine would not take my paper. The mechanical insertion of the paper is apparently pretty glitches. The helper told me it's a common problem (great). You have to put some pressure while guiding it in and if that doesn't work, lift up the plastic, push it in, and then put the plastic back down. lol

The lady at the scanning machine watched me scan my ballot in (which can be uncomfortable for some who want total privacy). Chatted with her and she said some people scan it upside down and some scan in a blank piece of paper (she was trying to explain why she was watching). I would assume the scanner detects and reject those human errors, but who knows?

My 2 cents- the most technically inept voters are GOP voters. It's not a knock on their intelligence, but their life experience. Blue-collar jobs and older people. Like I said, it's going to backfire on the GOP.

Young people never seen a printer in their lives, much less paper. But young voters don't vote so.

This x100. They can see how you voted and the person watching somehow looks like he/she stormed the cap. The guy that oversaw mine LITERALLY had an American Flag button-up shirt. Nothing against the flag, but strange vibes since it's not something a normal human being would wear.

He was also like 85. He doesn't know **** about that machine. Lulz.

I assume any white men over 65 slowly cook all day while watching Fox propaganda and would probably have taken a walk into Congress on 1/6 if it was convenient. I also give zero ****s what they see that I voted for.

Funny but not true. They still print tons of **** in public school.

My wife and just completed our early voting in Flower Mound (Denton County/DFW). No line at all, though the rain we've been having all day may have played into that.

Reminder early voting all this week until November 4

Why wait until election day? There will be long lines on election day possibly.
Maybe you just like long lines?

I like voters where their vote counts because they didn't wait until election day or didn't vote at all.

    Woo !

Is there a way to see all the candidates and proposals on a ballet before showing up to vote?

Texas (in its typical backwards fashion) doesn't have a statewide website that can generate a sample ballot so counties have to create a tool. Harris County has a sample ballot tool but a lot of counties in Texas do not. In most states, the state government's website has a universal tool that does this but Texas's election administration is still 50 years behind.

    Haha "I voted"
    AGAIN..

I did vote with my old address ( even though I'm still in the same county) just because I'm a rebel.
This is like when I was a young guy and I would take off the seatbelt right before the plane landed
