31MM a year doesn't seem like it's going to be enough to pry away any PAC12 lookieloo's. Probably had to hit the 40 mark for that to have a chance at happening. The guy who broke that story is saying he thinks the PAC will come in at around 27-28MM.
Maybe. It all depends on Arizona which seems to be B12's focus. The fact that Fox was willing to broadcast basketball games is probably big for them and the conference in general. It's not going to be the B10/SEC in football but it's probably the best basketball conference for the foreseeable future. Houston/Kansas/Arizona/Baylor/Tech would be pretty good.

It’s too early to describe what’s in those packages with any accuracy. But it’s important to note that ESPN’s Big 12 deal does not take it out of the running for Pac-12 rights. And Amazon still wants a package of college football games that can complement its Thursday night package of NFL games.
Depends on how badly UH wants more gate $$$ If I'm NRG I am lobbying UT, UH, and the B12 hard to have that be the "Texas Kickoff" or whatever to open next season
My cynical side agrees. However, this may be, quite literally, the last time UH and UT ever play each other. You can't really put a price on that. They should stick to their guns and keep it at TDECU. Make a trophy of some busted, temporary tiny bronzed bleachers while we're at it.
